will carbonate and bicarbonate kill benifical bacteria?

I have just got this ph up and down that has Cabonate and bicarbonate and was wondering if this will kill my Mycorrhizal Fungi

Calcium and Carbon are part's of it's environment..?If it has been established in the plant or nutes You can always pull a sample of soil or whatever they are in and keep the bacteria alive..Last but not least I'm sure there is a phone number on that set somewhere..

It's a Ph up and down for aqurium plant but are these organic or chem because its for fish tanks and fish so i don't think is chem base thanks for the reply guys

I'm not sure what you have, but I am using an organic source of calcium and magnesium in the form of carbonates. Mine are derived from rocks. Carbonates are acidic salt.

An example of a bicarbonate would be baking soda

The majority of the calcium carbonate is mined as a mineral as it is quite common , by definition it's a organic compound becouse of the C molcule within the compound , being yours is for a fish tank it may have gone thru purifaction/sanitation process that may alter the ''organic'' label

carbonate compounds can be bolth acid, and base

sodium carbonate /sodium bicarbonate /potasium bicarbonate, are actually all on the basic side
