Will an EEG detect damage to the reward system?

The brain damage resulted from a particular neurotoxin my intuition strongly tells me affected my reward center
I have the sensation the sunshine has been sucked out of my world. You either work WITH me or let your ego talk.
Your defiance notwithstanding ... I would be curious as to the identity of the neurotoxin. And where/how you encountered it. You appear to be telling a highly suggestive tale but with the useful bits redacted. Data are king.

What you got against spelling wrong?

;)
I will tell you. I tried to actually help the OP. I've been crazy busy and the word no was about all I had time for at the moment. All he did was strike out angrily (which is certainly a symptom of a TBI), at several of the regulars here. So instead of coming back and elucidating I simply swatted back.

I've dealt with a TBI that cost me a career. I understand the rage that ensues. But I'm not going to help while getting kicked.

I suffer from a traumatic brain injury. I'm talking to my physician in about a week about an EEG. I'm suffering from major depression. I feel like some sunshine has been taken out of my life. The only logical explanation for me for the way I feel is that there was damagE to my nneurotransmitter Production. Will an EEG show damage to my reward system?
Go pick up some 5-HTP from the vitamin store, or order it online. I think walmart sells it too. It's recommended by a dude that has studied in the field you need help in. Should get $75 co-pay for that info.

You can thank me later as you skip through a daisy laden field.

What are you talking about? What tests have been done to previously to diagnose a TBI? What was the nature of the injury, slip and fall, car crash?

How do you know you have brain damage, and how can you pinpoint the damage to a specific neurotoxin? Also the brain doesn't have an area called the "reward center", so I'm not really sure what area of the brain you think this neurotoxin has damaged.

Get a neurologist and maybe start with a CT scan. Maybe even do some research on depression and TBI, cause right now your just talking a bunch of bulk shit.

Our eldest son crashed a car & suffered a severe TBI - his prognosis was terminal they told us. Later when it was obvious he might make it & we re-trained him to walk/talk/eat etc. . .
They told us he would probably be 180 degrees from his previous self & I remember Mrs. GWN morbidly joking how he would now clean up after him self, do laundry etc...
Sonofabitch if that isn't the case 15 years later - the kid (he's over 35 now) handles all the finances for his family (loving wife & 2 grand-kiddos), is an accomplished Chef and runs a large highly technical mechanical shop that is very detail oriented.

Silver linings - Who fkn knew?
