i only want to smoke in my room and keep the smell in my room. i made a sploof with about 5 dryer sheets and a paper towel roll. if i blow smoke into my empty closet and then close it and crack the window in my room will it help the smell from not going out of my room?

I found a super effective Sploof recently. Inoted of a dryer sheet use a paper towel and on the paper towel put some aroma therapy essential oils (I like orange)
And dude I shot you not even with fire the smoke will smell like the oil! My wife hates the smell but never bothers me. Trick is to control the size of your hits too

i took a cheap furnace filter, cut the sheet of green stuff loose. then i took a piece of 2 inch pvc about 16 inches long, stuffed a good wad of the green filter material about halfway up the pvc. then on top of that i added about half a cup of activated carbon from the fish store, and used another piece of the filter material with a rubber band on the end to hold the carbon in. it works good for about a month then i have to dump the old carbon out and add new.
i manage the apartments i live in and no ones ever said anything to me about smelling anything when they come to pay their rent

solder fume fan. they have replaceable carbon filters. i hold a joint by it while smoke trails into it and blow my exhale into it. the tar is absorbed, some smell will be evident but only briefly since the tar is removed. even better put it on your window sill and itll blow it out the window.

you can also make has from uncured buds and it wont have much of a scent. still blow out the window of course.

get yourself a little plug in ozone generator, run it for an hour before u smoke to make sure the air has enough ozone in it then blow it out the window, any stray smells will be obliterated by the ozone.

ozone generators are awesome at getting rid of odors.
they're also awesome at killing your plants. quickly.
do NOT use one anywhere close to your plants for more than 20 seconds.
i use mine as a deodorizer now, it sits behind my front door, if someone i don't know knocks, i turn it on for 15 seconds, wait 10 more, then open the door, no one smells anything, and my plants aren't withering from the ozone.
go look at the recent posts in my journal to see the damage. it was all done in less than 10 days, took 3 weeks to recover

I've got 3 ozone gens, one for outside the grow room, one for in the grow room and one for my hydroponic reservoir, the one in the room is pretty powerful and it cycles 15min on every 2 hours. The one in my res is on for 15 mins prior to every watering and the one outside the room has a built in timer I think or something to regulate it, maybe half hour on half hour off. It's only really dangerous when you're using large amounts, which I don't. It can kill plants but only when u allow levels to get too high.

I've heard of the dryer sheet/toweling roll method, lol. Thankfully, I was 'coming of age' in the mid-80s and my family consisted of many open-minded brothers, sisters, and friends so I never had to conceal my various activities very much.

get a jar of Uno Gel for your room. put a small amount in a dish or jar lid, whatever,. Uno sucks all odors out of the air, it does not just cover them up!

The sploofer will work nice with an exhaust fan. Put a small fan in the window exhausting the air and sit right next to it and sploof it out. Also try to extinguish the bowl and keep everything near that exhaust
