I know UB personally. You are not even remotely close to accurately describing his character. He is a much better person than many people on this site will ever be.
My carry is a HK P30 9mm sa/da, full clip and one in the chamber. The gun strapped in my truck is a 1911 sig 45.
I used to carry a Kimber Elite in 380. But I hate the trigger pull so I switched out.

bragging about hunting down people on Facebook and getting them fired makes him a snitch to me and scum.
I also carry a 45 carbine as my trunk weapon,just a budget hi point 4595 but its 100% reliable & accurate,the 10 round mags are a drag though,my sidearm has been the Colt python 5" for about 8 years but I just upgraded to the S&W 627-5 357 ,I'm still needing more range time with it before it becomes my carry piece but I do like having 8 shots vs 6 with the Python .

Who cares about budget or not, if it's accurate and reliable, I certainly don't care about brands. Hi-Points are decent guns for their price, they're just really ugly guns. But again, it shoots the same lead, so who cares.
The Colt and S&W, are those revolvers or semi-autos? I'm not familiar with those, Python & 627-5. And how come you chose 357 over 9mm? They both shoot basically the same.

i know you are a bit of a businessman yourself, so how would you feel if one of your employees was making racist comments on social media while making it known that they were employed by you?

As a person, I would commend you for exposing racist asshats and pointing it out to said asshats employer. Because I know as an employer, that my employees are an extension of my business, representing me and my brand. And as a civil individual I'd want to take action against those who poorly represent my business.
Long story short, I don't see anything wrong with what you did.
