Why You Should not Have Sex If You Aren't Married?

Why shouldn't you have sex? Of course, you're young; but in your own estimation you're old enough--and who should say different? You aren't married, but in your opinion that doesn't matter--so why should any other opinion matter? If you want to have sex, what's to stop you? Why should you wait, why should you refrain, why should you abstain? In short, why should you not do something which you believe is good, unlike anything else you could do?http://answernote.com/index.php?topic=2166.0

Personally, I think that the idea of marriage is fairly outdated. I don't need the church, government, or any kind of legal stamp of approval on my personal relationships.

That being said, I am monogamous by nature, and I have never been the one responsible for the breakup of any of my long-term relationships. Looking back, I can not see how my being married would have helped in any way, and would probably have made the whole thing a much more difficult and drawn out process.

If you take the entirely invented concept of marriage out of the question, I can still see plenty of valid reasons why you shouldn't just go around having sex with people at random though. I'll try and list some when I am less stoned, I just wanted to get my views on marriage out there for now.

I call my lover my husband, though we aren't married... I don't need a STAMP to tell me that I'm spending my life with this man.

if your super religious, and want to be stay "pure" till marriage, find the girl you want to be with forever, both of you convert to becoming mormon and get married. problem solved.
if you want to fuck a different woman every night, become mormon and get married - they are polyigamists (and its not considered cheating).. again problem solved.
god works in mysterious ways i guess lmao

other than that wrap your shit up.. only you know what you have REALLY done, who knows what shes REALLY done..

Bill Bryson's Coming to America offers some interesting insight into the way that sex, nudity, having children etc has changed with time.

the only reason someone would willingly abstain from sex when they really wanted to have sex is because of religion. i would never marry someone without having sex with them first. that is just plain stupid.

Why the the hell would you wait until you're married to have sex? That's like buying a car without test driving it....

Can you imagine marrying someone and then finding out they're the worst fuck ever? Part of what makes me attracted to my gf is that the sex is great, I could never imagine being that willfully ignorant to something so important.

marriage to me is an outdated practice created by men to keep women compliant and in "their place" the more human culture evolves the more we realize marriage is dumb lol. i think people are beginning to realize that there is no room to grow as an individual or to change, when your in a relationship with someone who does not want you to grow or change. i also think jealousy has a lot to do with it, something each and everyone of us must get over, if we could only get over our insecurities there would be no jealousy, but that's easier said than done.

besides, who wants to eat the same food for the rest of their lives anyways? it would eventually lose its taste and become boring. (like my last girlfriend lol)

just my opinion
