Why would a club not sell ounces?

This club with 40 strains just got a strain and was selling it for near $400 an ounce.
I check their web site and its now unavailable in an ounce and $55 and 1/8 or $16 a gram.

Plus when they had a holiday sell it was not on sell and remained $15!

I know it could be anything but being I know they have a ~full~ stock of this strain im wondering if they are trying to trick customers or they got a huge run on the strain or its popular?

There 4 menu items like this, no deal on an ounce.
Its just so weird.

White Widow. Its very thick outdoor and was allowed to fully finish. Its great big buds also.
I smoked it and its pretty strong, put me into space. Its organic and has pretty good crystal formations when looked at under a scope.

I'm told Sativa is popular with customers because so many people yank them early in the season and this one was mature and cured well.

Well to be honest he probably realized that he couldnt sell it at the price he bought it for so he is only selling small bags to handel the overhead. It may also have gone after getting a longer cure from sittin round making it more appealing. Just my .02

It's likely one of the best selling strains and doesn't need discounting or sales to move.

I paid out the ass in the Bay Area for some 16 week organic sativa. I'm sure it would have been 400+ and ounce - so I just bought alittle bit... Who needs ounces of the best of the best? And if you do grow it ;)

Because when you don't grow or have any friends that do, when you run across something extraordinary, you tend to buy more of it than you normally would. I used to anyways... :)
