why the F@#! is my sprinklers cloggin up in a couple of hours!!

hei guys,

ok i dont know why but my sprinklers keep getting clogged super fast. i was first using supernatural powder food and add water, but it clogged. then i used liquid thikning its probably the powder.. and it still clogged! WTF?! how do u guys keep it unclogged? is it the sprinklers im using?? idk
let me know someone plz. thanks

It's probably foreign matter in the reservoir causing the problem. Clogging is caused by any small particles that get into the spray nozzle. They add up fast. Chances are though placing a mesh bag over your pump will solve this problem.

In the end I went to a drip system with elbow joints because I got sick of clogged spray heads. The net mesh bag will greatly improve the problem but nothing can cure it. Spray nozzles are great.....awesome....but require lots of maintenance.

ok thats cool. im goin with the drip system too. im tired of the sprayers too. too many plants got messed up cuz of it. bye sprinklers hello drip!

Just use a regular air line elbow...nothing fansy and say goodbye to clogs. Also use blue line or black not clear or it will for algie fast.

Go to your local paint store and buy 5 gallon paint strainer paint bags. Use a zip tie around the power cord and pump tube. I have same heads and it stopped the problem instantly. If they do start to clog it means you water needs to be changed and you can see the strainer bag is clogged to.
