Why not use buds for making hash?

I had a guy tell me not to make hash from my buds, that I should only use the trimmings of the plant. He said buds are too good to be used simply for making hash. I'm not sure who is right, him or I... but here is my rant.

The way I see it, if I want a good amount of very high quality hash, then the more buds I use the better. I guess he sees it as a waste of good bud or something.

Most people in the U.S. do just use the trimmings for hash, it seems. They see hash as "better then nothing" since trimmings are usually thrown out. But in the real good hash producing countries of the world (Morocco, Turkey, Lebanon, Iran, Afghanistan, etc.) they use the buds and everything, don't they?

Hash is just a great product and is a time honored way of preparing cannabis, the way I see it. I see no reason to not turn half my harvest into it, if not more. This is especially true if I harvest a lot more bud then I know what to do with. I don't smoke often, and hash is easier to store because it is so much smaller.

make hash/oil with ur trimmings cause u cant smoke them

its whatever you want you will get more better has i would imagie from buds and if you ahve eough bud it doesnt really matter if you "waste" it in my opinion i havent been able to get bubble bags so i havent made hash perse ive made keif from trim but im lazy and never get much i really want some bubble bags for that plus i been doing lots of small lolipopped plants and dont get much good trim but lots of good buds so i prefer to smoke bud anyway but if i had and extra qp i could spare making bubble has with that ould be awsome also for honey oil i think bud would work really good but ive only made that with trim and tro me the yeild wasnt worth the money i had to spend on butane

I guess from my perspective, when compared to hash, buds are like trimmings. Buds have more resin then trimmings, but hash has more resin then buds. I just see hash making as a way of concentrating the parts of the bud that I'm truly after.

I mean, I'll save some buds to smoke, of course. But most of the time I vaporize buds anyway, because there is no reason for me to burn and smoke all the extra plant material in the buds.

you can use buds. i know people who turn all their bud to hash. it's stores better if anything.

depending on what type of hash you are making you will either end up with more product or better product at the end if you use buds to make hash. heck i guess you may even end up with more and better... people dont normally do it because buds are already smokeable where as trim and leaves are not so smokable. if you have a sweet tooth for hash,, or you dont like your nugs too much then you can do it... i have bought large counts (QP) of shit outdoor then converted it all into hash to turn a buck on it

i guess i just unederestimate hash cause it dont sell round here
and ive never had it but it makes sense if u use ur buds u will have more of a higher quality
