WHY Leaf Curling with use of Rootpots/Smartpots??

2 Plants are in FFOF and one is in a mix of FFOF and Kelloggs: Gardner& Bloom Coco soil.
The Plants are under a 400w HPS and in Smart/Rootpots. Right now I'm watering every 4 days. On the fourth day the pots are really lite. They get like done dry to the point where the lower fan leaves start to droop before I water. When I do water, the leaves curl downward that entire day. By the next day they straighten out again. What the heck is causing this? Am I moisture stressing my plants?

Is anyone using smart pots under 400w hps? I have two 2gallons and one 5gallons. Each plant gets about a quart of water every 4 days. Maybe I should water with less but more frequently??

Here is what they look like when I just watered:

By the next day they straighten out to look more like this: (This pic was one day after the last watering);

Think maybe it's because I mixed Citrus tone in with the foxfarm when I transplanted? Is it true that nutrient excess can cause curling when you water?

try watering with less more often, i dont know how humid it is where you live, but i water every single day. Every third day with nutes. Id try watering every other day and see what happens.
