why is there seeds?

Why at the end of flowering blueberry do seeds sometimes appear. Although im convinced that they have had no male contact. it has now happened on previous two grows. PLEASE HELP!

youre probably getting light leaks in your dark periods

Same thing happened to me. I had a hermie plant male & female parts. Sucks, plant uses the energy for making bud and use's it for seed. Bud was crap. Not sure if it was stress, bad soil, not enough light. I have upgraded soil and lights and things are a lot better.

thanks very much it is really confusing as the bud smells great and there only appears to be problems at the final stages of flowering. what is a hermie plant by the way and how do they begin?

ya one of my plants has mad buds, smells awesome, but i had a few light leeks i was aware of, looks like there are a few sites where seeds are coming in, im not worried cause its like 99% bud and 1% seed

Hermie is created genetically or by a stress factor during growth and maturation.

a hermie is when a plant produces both male and female parts. the male parts release the pollen and the female parts collect it and produce the seeds. you want a female only crop. you should find out what has been stressing your plants or where you got your seeds and try to solve that. one of the more common causes of hermies are light leaks in the plants dark period. next time your plants are in their dark period go check and see if any lights are getting to them.
