Why is greenhouse seeds so crap

not so sure about that. I got a free seed from attitude and it hermied on me 4 weeks into flowering.. Tangerine dream.

and see thats why i included barneys farm but said its not as bad as cali connect and dutch passion...i see mixed reviews on barneys farm, although most of the reports on herms i see from barneys are tangerine dream...

Than maybe i have a god opinion about Barney's farm only because I didn't try Tangerine Dream. All I can express is that the two I've tried were both excellent choice (vanilla kush & Laughing Buddha ).

okay first off noone even cares about the Cannabis Cup except for dweebs on here ahahaha noone even knows when its going on till after its over a few weeks people start noticing. 2nd off its quite obvious that if you ask around you will get horror stories for all companies. the bigger older ones, obviously having more bad stories theyve been around longer and sell way more gear leaving a much larger of a chance for bad seeds. i bought an entire pack of 10 Violater Kush still sealed from Barneys Farm, and not 1 of those fucking seeds popped. so yah enuff said, every single company is hit or miss 2 a degree just depends who you ask.... but Dutch Passion in my opinion is the worst of the worst. im not a fan of Barneys Farm, but i do enjoy some good Pineapple Chunk Cheese Phenotype. so yah its all in the eye of the beholder. this argument is going 2 get absolutely nowhere haha.

After a few years I am still waiting for irefutable proof that the cannabis cub can be purchased.

thats what im saying, like what did they give the judges some weed? like come the fuck on, Greenhouse has sold me some genetics that were decent and a couple that were Legendary. isnt that what ur sposses 2 get? some good plants that fit the description and if your lucky a legendary keeper pheno or 2? well thats what i got from Greenhouse and i just started a Kings Kush im guna mother out that im guna do a whole batch of. if anyone wants 2 see good GreenHouse results all they have 2 do is watch my grow page for awhile the link is at the bottom haha.

Fuck GHS strait in their collective earholes! I purchased a pack of The Church and AMS, both fem, awhile back. Started off with The Church. 3 out of the 5 beans were used. 2 didn't pop, and didn't really care, but the one that did pop was a fuckin MALE! Not a hermie, a piece of shit male out of a pack of fem beans.... Once they knew I was State side, they never responded back. So yeah, FUCK GREENHOUSE SEEDS RIGHT IN THEIR GOD DAMN EARHOLES!!!!! Have a nice day...

That's the problem, you got a freebie from the Tude that was re-packed. You don't really know if you got a bean from BF or a BS (Bullshit) bean.... Unless it comes in a breeders pack, don't hold the breeder accountable...

have read such aswell...from what I gleaned it appears the initial release of TD was a botched batch. Since then alot of people have praised it...I grew LSD, Nightshade, Utopia Haze and Amnesia Lemon and all were potent and easy to grow.

So 1 order and 2 strains and you have written them off, I have had orders as recent as 3 weeks ago arrive as fem's from what most would call REPUTABLE BREEDERS with fire genetics only to have 1 be a straight up male and the other two look very sick and weak.

I will still try my luck again with some of these breeders, and will not jump on the bandwagon like so many others have.

Those that are condeming breeders for shit genetics and have only grow a few strains once or twice don't count, run a breeders strain at least 3 times popping at least 25 seeds then let me know the results, guaging genetics and stability when you only grow 5 - 10 beans from a strain is utterly useless when comparing breeders and genetics.

You don't seem to understand; I have never had a problem with GHS genetics, always very good beans it is the other breeders who I have had some suspect beans from.

Either way at the end of the day were all going to get the beans from the breeder/broker we like, trust, recommended, researched, or picked at random; and it's all good as long as it's growing

yah like i think the only thing weve agreed on is that all the major companies have fans and also problems. sounds about fucking right egh? im just glad their still trying, cuz man i dont know what i would do without some good reefer. and yah the only company that has more bad than good like litarlly is Dutch Passion, i dont think theyve changed anything since the 70s jus inbreeding hermie monsters and selling the seeds for mad cash at 70's amsterdam prices or some shit the only way their prices make sense would be if hermie dogs were worth more money than good females hahahaha. im being serious ive ran at least a couple different strains from almost all the major companies except for like Cali Connection and Serious and Delicious and ive never had consistantly bad results with any company, they all have some awesome fuckn strains, its just 2 what degree the hit or miss factor runs.

Noobs grow greenhouse, noobs support greenhouse. If you grow greenhouse you are a noob and are missing out. Experienced growers know how important solid genetics are. Greenhouse growers make a lot of excuses "there seeds they can't all be perfect".... in this thread someone said "go buy tomatoe seeds and look how many are duds". You're a fucking idiot, tomatoe seeds don't cost 100$ a pack for 5-10 seeds..........undoubtedly some noob will argue but I won't return to this thread I've said my part.

Hehe..what he said. No pro grower would use Greenhouse. They were a good company 15 years ago. Some really good breeders out there like Sannie or Hazeman gear. No need to deal with these "gimmick" companies like Greenhouse seeds.
