Why does the smell change?Has anyone have this happen

When i put my girls into flowering.They smelled just like pure skunk bud from 100 meters away,now that they been flowering for 6 weeks they have a piney and coffee smell to them,is this cause of what is happening inside with clorofil and growing going on with ferts and molasses???when i flush it, will it get its real smell back??Anyone have ever had this happen??Advice please,,first grow from start to almost finish!!

Come on someone has had this happen,if you grow mj,i can't be the only one??

yes it happened to me it was really strong them went almost scentles and went from skunk to coffe chocolate smell,it didnt get the original smell back but it didnt smell like coffe or chocolate either when it was dry it smelt like fruit when it was dry.

Do your farts smell different when you eat beef or meat than they do when you eat jsut vegetables?

That SKUNK smell, that smells like cat shit, is from the PLANT eating nitrogen and farting the waste away. It is stronger on GROW or VEG nutrients because they have more nitrogen. When you switch to BLOOM or FLOWER nutrients, there is less nitrogen being consumed and the farts don't stink as bad and the smell changes, from just the leaves. Then, when you start getting FLOWERS or buds, you get a new different smell.
When you harvest them and dry the buds, the smell will chagne again, and AFTER you cure them, about 4 weeks later, the smell will be different again.
