I agree with unclebaldrick.........on most of his statment.
With the exception of.......the reason he keeps saying
"My lady" because he knows what those HARDEND
Criminals will do with the blade runner in the penal colony
He's just practicing for the inevitable.....

I believe he is referring to the judge as "M'Lady" because in SA there is no jury, only the judge makes the judgment, so maybe he's appealing to her trying to get sympathy?

I think he's guilty.
