Making love with Cecelia up in my bedroom, I get up to wash my face, when i come back to bed someones taken my place...

So i beleive the missed question here is why the need to get right up n wash ur face??? Had Cecelia not let you know she was oozing gelatinous blood clots before you culangled her? Or had you taken someone elses place yourself and realized you had been gnawing another dudes cum wad? Or Cuz cecelia was just that nasty you had to get that fish slime off ur face fast??

This is just a theory, but it's a lot more poetic than the "cheating girlfriend" story. How many of Simon and Garfunkel's song's lyrics are so explicitly on the nose? Not many. St. Cecilia is the patron saint of musicians, so Simon is singing about having writer's block. Everything is going great (he's making love) and when he takes a short break (getting up to wash his face) he finds that his inspiration has left him. But it comes back.
