Why do you use psychedelics?

I love 'em. I use them to learn more about myself. I use them because I love how they make me feel. I love them because it helps my creativity. I use them to fix problems in my life that need more thinking. I love psychedelic art and nothing beats the art the mind can make on psychedelics. I love how they make music sound and feel and the visuals that come with sound. I love how colorful it can be, I love how intricate it can be. I love the emotions attached with psychedelics. I love the word psychedelics. I love how they can make the most boring and plain things so exciting that you can spend hours on them.................The list can go on forever

i don't really learn anything.. but seeing shit is fun as hell.

i dont, that shit doesnt agree with my mind. although i have had a few good journeys, i dont like my buzz's to last longer than i want them to. i prefer hard white and opiates lol but i dont partake them anymore.

for me , it is seeing the world in a different way,and there are many more ways to see this world,weed just helps to unlock that door.

Yea, I just like tripping out and seeing shit that my brain makes up.

The reason I consume Psychedelics is to learn more about myself and the world around me.

I find that these substances allow the user to observe themselves and their reality from an unbiased point of view. I believe psychedelics are tools that allow us to explore ourselves and the world around us. LSD and DMT especially have helped me to deal with issues such as a horrible fear of dying, and the loss of a loved one.

I think while these technologies can do worlds of good, one must be extremely careful with them. Timothy Leary constantly spoke of set and setting and how irresponsible use of these technologies could also do a world of harm.

I definitely agree with how they can help you get over circumstances in your life. That's a really good way to put it.

Im with you brother

Its like a vacation in the mind, there is beautiful scenery, everything is a little different but the same, and you come back with a new appreciation of your home.

Oh yeah and ripping apart the fabric of reality is awesome.

Agree there bro. I feel that way after many trips. A greater appreciation for something I saw in a different way or experienced during my 'adventure'.

I Love psychedelics because i love escaping reality and seeing shit and learning about my life they are just amazing

Try drinking 10 grams of mushies in a tea

I took LSD and mushrooms to push myself beyond my limits. You can never experience the feeling of a psychedelic trip outside of taking the drug. The psychedelic experience will make you go crazy on an introspective level. The world as you know it literally dies and you become a whole different person during the experience. Then, you come back to normal, sleep the whole next day, and reflect on the crazyness of the previous day. When I think psychedelics, it makes me think of my mind getting fucked. Looking in the mirror and laughing, going crazy, and then laughing at yourself because you realize what a nutty fucker you truly are on the drug. Oh it will make you do things you never thought you would do. You will feel strange.

I guess all of the above reasons is due cause to try a psychedelic.

I take shrooms for my megalomania. I have a superiority complex and whenever I find myself insulting and judging others on a constant basis, I take a trip. I find nothing can convince me of my insignificance in the universe than way 3g of shrooms can.

Now that I have put some further thought into this I came to realize that we use each other.

I get closer to myself and my evolution and so does the compound I ingest.

Mushrooms are evolving much like us. They are not self aware. When I eat them I experience the reality I have forgotten through my evolution. And they get to know self awareness before their energy cycles back through for another try at evolving to a greater consciousness.

Mind altering drugs create
a balance to the ever growing
restiction of the world.

Since their beginning they've
been used for these purposes.

BTW, I've never tripped. I want to try salvia and shrooms though. I've "tripped" off some really good bud though, especially if I haven't smoked in a while. I sadly can't smoke now because I need to pass a drug test in order to enter the Air Force. But after I pass, I'm going get BLAZED!
