Why do some guys wats to still use mono led with cobs?

I agree w/ Greengenes 707. Well put.
Anything will grow a plant. It's the differance in results were after.
Ex: Hydroponics Hut X5-500 = .44 GPW
AMARE SE-450 = 1.12 GPW w/o lenses

That's w/ poorly vegged plants & a poor grow on my part but pretty even on both sides. Each side had more then enough plant to max out the lights abilities in such enviornment. Each light can do allot better but the fact remains, no matter the circumstances, the HH will always put out less then half the Amare. This is why a light is not just a light. The spectrum & quality of components & build matter more then many realize.
This goes to show the huge differance in performance between the 2.
I think poeple need to understand the large sacrifice they are making by trying to save a few hundred on their initial purchase. Save a few bucks today & loss thousands over the course of 2 grows.
I have yet to post these results on my own thread but figured they need to be seen here too.
I hope this info. Helps fellow growers new to LED, as led tends to have a bad name from the previous years technology used.

I love this thread. I love everything about it, esp the misspelled title. The conversations and back & forths give me a lot to think about. @Hybridway i like your last comment & think everyone should read it and take it to heart. I know I have.
I have come to realize (how ever obvious ) time & space are my most limiting resources. Under-lighting spaces and wasting time with older technology has cost me a lot.
It's hard to calculate opportunity cost until after you have made some mistakes.

So, this is a mono panel w/ cobs as the addition as a supplement? I see you mentioned that we can customize our lights.
Can we choose to use top-bin diodes & cobs? Wheather it's Bridgluxe or Cree? If so, I could see you guys selling plenty of these.

COBS is one channel , not as a supplement . Our customer use COBS channels , he thinks it's enough for his growing already . We can make the led lights with the led diodes we have , to customize the one you want .
Those ones we don't stock , we have MOQ . We use common bridgelux and CREE LED chips both .
When we offered the price , we will write the price for bridgelux and epistar , Or CREE LED Chips .

ill never get why people advertise their products by showing that it can grow healthy plants. anything above a low pressure sodium can really grow the same healthy plants with the right intensity

give us some GPW or something useful....

GPW isn't generally useful for comparing different lights to each other unless all other variables are identical (same wattage, time, grower etc)
