OP, is this a new realization for you? The whole All is One thing???

It's a step in the right direction. I'm glad to see it whenever I do see it.

....and as you write this dribble another 5000 blacks perish from starvation in north east africa during the 15 seconds it took you to write that...6400 people died in europe just in car wrecks, lets not get too close to home it may hurt, as God is dead ...long live god ...see small 'g' as there is so little proof ...evidence, or Re-mark!
By the way, "God" can't be dead, because you still live. It isn't hard to understand, it think.
Also, thats 432.000.000 "blacks" dying every single day...

Part of it is. I already "knew" things, but it was in my skull, not reaching my brain until now.
My father is also becoming more enlightened, and tells me about such, but it's not understood until I experience it myself.

I'm here to settle this debate.

P.S. don't let Naveah see this thread, his head might explode with dashed messianic hopes.

He is right thinking he is the "messiah" and salvation of Earth. I think the same way, and talking with him made me realize how we all are God.
If he thought he is less than a God and solution to all suffering, he would deny his abilities.

Don't answer the thread title, answer this:
What effect do you guys think worshipping somebody who is not real as they teach it has?
More precisely, how would their soul look like compared to a healthy mind's.

There are a lot more inconsistencies in the Bible you could of used, but yes, this is also a viable one.

Let me ask you this though, if you had no explanation for life and someone gave an answer that was joyful and believable, (It's not at all believable as science has proven) do you think you would follow this person.
(let's say a friendly looking man with a beard and a robe, who happened to meet 12 disciples with super normal names in that part of the world.)

There is always an answer for those who can't accept what life is, it's for those who are afraid of the dark.

I never did receive a good explanation for life...... and no... I did not believe and follow anyone that simply gave me a joyful and "believable" answer.

Did someone give you a good explanation for life???? You have the answer??? Shit.... fill us in

Well said, chaotic, destructive, furious, inifinite... just some words that pop into my head when thinking of the Universe. However it is orderly though, not always, but the universe follows the laws of science, which is remarkable.
We live in an area that is so precise for developing life that it has absolutely thrived and there has been no other record of life in the Universe. Don't believe the bible, the sun and the stars do not rely on the Earth as stated but rather the opposite and which Galileo Galilei spent the remaining 9 years of his life in prison for exposing.

If you worship a god that doesn't resemble you: worship that god as perfect as you can imagine. That's you.

I guess not everybody these days can imagine himself/herself as a white robed old beardy man.

I agree with the people on here that believe we are all gods.

John 10:27-36
New King James Version (NKJV)
"27*My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28*And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29*My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30*I and My Father are one.”

Renewed Efforts to Stone Jesus

31*Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. 32*Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?”

33*The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.”

34*Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’?[a] 35*If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), 36*do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?"

So even Jesus said we are "gods" in the Bible. And the Jews wanted to kill Jesus for his claims.

Not everyone can accept that we are all gods, but I believe it.

~PEACE~

Catastrophic effects. Deaths attributed to religion far outweigh any other reason innocent people are killed. Harm attributed to religion is off the charts. Slavery, totally justified..

The biggest loss is without a doubt on the education front. If you're religious, you're far more likely to be racist, sexist, closed minded towards scientific advancements and medicine, against equal rights, against abortion and birth control, against condoms and sex education, etc, the list is endless.. Basically, if you're religious, you're much more likely to be a burden on society.

BTW. Can you tell me who made everyone think that God is up in the skies and watches us all? Because every bad is contributed to that.
Humankind gave up it's godly power because they thought that anyone bigger than them could exist.
It's nonsense. Thinking this way makes a slave to whom may doesn't even exist, and if does, you are still bigger and stronger.

PS: see my new sig :D

I think it all comes back to unanswered questions. The state of science today can't answer all the questions, and that makes many individuals in our species very uncomfortable. Replacing not knowing with, well, anything really, is more comfortable.. Comfort trumps reality in almost every aspect of life. If it's easy, more than likely, you'll take it. Believing in religion, in something/someone having control of everything is easier than admitting "we just don't know, it's still a mystery..".

If God made humankind, is it a 'leg missing' from him? Or a big hole where his stomach was? What about the animals, the mountain, the breath and fire?
God disassembled himself unto us and everything. HOW CAN you think of God as somebody else, other than you?
I worship myself, Because I am the true creator.
So would be you, if you were to realize this, but now I will turn into a lizard, WHICH IS BASICALLY I AM already.
