Why did my clones start to yellow on the same day roots appeared?

It's been 5 days, and they just shot roots. They're in a dome with jiffy pellets. The water used is tap. They've been a little droopish, but stayed green. But then on the same day they shot roots, the bottom leaves began to go yellow resembling a nitrogen problem. The middle part of the leaves are yellow, with the outer edges holding out green for the longest. I'll admit, I did pull them out of the jiffy pellets twice to look at the roots right before this happened, before putting them back. Maybe this had something to do with it?*

What's going on? Thanks.

After a few days they usually yellow that's normal its a sign that they're using what's stored in the leaves to make roots..Taking them out of the jiffy wasn't a good idea. You should leave em alone til you can see roots coming out the pellet.

So once I transplant them they should bounce back? I don't want them to die while in the pellets. The roots haven't shot out that much, but the leaves are turning yellow... not good considering they only have 3 sets.

Once they kick roots they'll outgrow all that.. I use rw instead of the pellets but its basically the same shit. What I do is after I stick em in the rw I put em under a light with a dome for 5 or so days. I don't even look at em for those 5 days then after take the dome off and leave em there under the light. After u take the dome off u just wanna make sure that they don't get too dry or stay too wet.
