Had the same issue for the first time last run. My opinion is I didn't have enough light. I changed my grow room up a bit different last run and my lighting was the only real difference. And in return my buds didn't swell as much. I flowered them longer than usual and ended up with a good harvest so be patient and it should all work out. Best of luck.

Thanks for reply mate I only grow 1 plant in each 2x2 started off with a phlizon 900led but wasn't too impressed so I purchased a spider farmer sf1000 which has been in with this since about a week old kept temps between 20-24 only other thing that I thought may be the case is its only in a 6l air pot and she's a good size plant so could this play a part?

Fairly new to growing this is only my second attempti thought ruderalis meant the size of the plant didn't know it effects size of buds too what would you recommend I do as its getting close to the 80 day mark cheers

Finish them out and improve lighting/technique for next run. They look good in any event.
Good luck.

Ruderalis is a “species” of marijuana if you understand better that way. Im sure you've heard of Sativa and Indica, well Ruderalis falls under the same category. The name is used largely to describe land race and “feral” phenos of pot. Strains that may be undiscovered and or discovered but worthless to most extents.

Yeah from my understanding ruderalis is crossed with indica / sativa to create autoflowers if I'm correct I went with auto thinking quick turn around as I suffer with rhemautiod aurthorits and cannabis is only thing that helps me through the days so it's all personal anyway I've got a original auto chemdawg on the go aswell which is currently in stretch definitely an indica hybrid and only done a slight lst on it so fingers crossed can produce some nice colas/buds.. Thinking I might change seed bank next run any suggestions..

Cheers mate Im thinking I may move to organic dry amendments next run maybe spend less time mixing nutes and I only run 1 plant in a 2x2 which is why I thought I'd give the sf1000 a try but maybe need another in there aswell.

A lot of beginners start with autos for this reason but I personally think autos are a horrible way to learn to grow. You can still get a fairly quick turnaround with photo period plants if you buy strains that have shorter flowering times and just flip them to flower early. Just a couple of beginner mistakes with an auto can cause you to wind up with poor results in the end.

Yeah that light only pulls 100 watts. I'd suggest adding more light and try a different strain. Also how far is the light away from your plant?

Part of your issue is TOO MUCH NITROGEN during flower ... it impedes proper flower formation and growth.
Look at your dark , shiny leaf.
Even though nitrogen is an important element, too much of it can cause problems with cannabis . If these problems are not fixed before the flowering cycle, your plant will struggle to build flowers, or the flowers will be airy and less dense.

Congrats Vinnie, she looks well taken care of. You better cut her down if she's that old especially going to amber, cloudy is good. Without knowing the PPFD that's banging into her it's hard to say why the poor yield but generally most everyone could use more light. More photon energy equates to more mass (grass to us). That's photosynthesis changing one form of energy, light, into an equal amount of mass.

I used ILGM with success twice.
