Why are my clones going purple and dying? [PICTURES]

All of my clones stems turn purple than die. I have no idea why this is. any help?

- They are kept in a high humidity dome
- some are in soil pucks, some are in soil that contains no fertilizer
- Kept at room temperature
- On 18 hour lighting
- tried using rooting gel and powder, both have failed me.
- Cut the clone at a 45 degree angle, tried splicing, shaving and small cuts at the base. All have failed me.
- Clone is kept about 6 inches away from one 23watt CFL

The only thing that I can think of is that I water the mother plant with CalMag supplement and 20-20-20 fertilizer (Veg Stage of course)
I have never ever been able to make a clone root. It always dies after 7 days, and when I dig it up there is zero roots.
I've watched a tone a youtube videos and read a lot of articles online. I have no idea why it's not rooting :(

Your suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I don't think you're supposed to give them anything other than straight pH'd water until they have a root systme that can do something with nutes etc. I have only cloned just over 20 times, but every one has rooted. I do as you do, take cutting, straight into water, out of water into rooting agent (I use powder), then into a jiffy pellet/rock wool. They sit under a cfl on 18/6 under dome for first week or so, spraying the inside of the dome several times a day to keep humidity up and slowly open vents over the weeks as roots appear to harden them off. Then plant on from there. I can't see where you can be going wrong :-?

Can I water the clones with CalMag to help it out? Or will that just make it worse?
No you cant ,no nutes during cloning. Too wet is the issue, remove dome after 2-3 days then just mist a few times a day, dont water the jiffys to saturation (most important) only 1/2 wet and the jiffys should need a 1/2 watering every day all things going well.

Thank you for the response! I'll give it a try!
