Why are my clones flowering? W/pics

So i recently acquired some sour diesel clones from a medical growing buddy about a week ago. When i went to red cup em today i noticed that almost all of them are flowering. This is weird cause they've never been outside my veg room(20on/4off) and they weren't flowering when i got them. So whats happening? Anyone ever ran into this issue?

well it depends i guess if the mother plant was already flowering when the clones were taken and if the mother plant is been on 24 hours light its whole cycle maby when it got that 4 hours of dark it decided well time to flower

I would assume that when a clone is taken, it would need to root in the new soil first. I assume that rather than use its energy to show sex, it would root more. But I could be wrong. That's the only reason I ask if the clones are from an auto-flowering strain.

actully ya becaus when you take a clone off a plant thats not budding the clones should still be in vegetative stage right? so i guess it would make sence if it was autoflowering

Mine did that also. I took them off the mother after I harvested from her but I put her back into 24 hour MH lights. The clones flowered but it actually appeared to look more like preflowering. I know have the clones growing out well and they are back to full vegetative growth. I want another 10" of growth on them before I start to flower them.

Probably just preflowers. Some strains probably just have more of them. i had a similar thing happen with my last grow. The Plants from seed showed preflowers at about 4 weeks old and the clones I took from them looked like they were flowering when they never got less than 18 hours of light. Mine actually started growing single and webbed leaves as I continued to vegetate them it was kind of strange but they stretched when I actually flowered them and flowered quickly.
