Why are hermies so bad?

Ive got two plants going right now and I THINK they are both turning hermie. I would post pics but am at work at the moment.

Just curious why everyone says to chop down hermies, besides the fact it will have some seeds in it of course.

Im thinking one is a hermie and the other isnt. Still may be too early to tell. I only do 2 plants at a time due to the space Ive got to work with.

Just wanted to make sure the THC quality wasnt cut in half or anything. I can deal with the seeds, I put up with midgrade for years, and no way it could be any worse than that. haha

There's a reason the Spanish have a term for seedless marijuana: Sinsemilla.

Sinsemilla is a great deal more potent then seeded bud. Your supply will last a lot longer and will be of much higher quality if you take care of those hermies. Leaving 'em in your grow space will also cause future females grown in there to become seeded too. Male pollen lasts quite a while, and it's airborne.

At the very least, cut off EVERY male flower before it bursts, and take care of your light leaks! Don't pollute your grow space, man, it's well worth the effort!
