Why am I a stranger?

Sorry, new here. I looked at the FAQs and I don't understand, so I need to ask you guys. What is this title below our names? Is it just a "level" of membership, or is it based on time here? Thanks in advance for the help, I am just learning the site.

Like most forums its based on post count.

it goes by post count amanda, you'll notice as you post it will change from stranger, to learning how to roll a joint, able to roll a joint, teaching others how to roll, etc, etc, etc..
i forget how many posts for each, but if you don't want to be a stranger, get to posting, lol..

yeah i think you have to have 10 or 25 posts to get "learning to roll" or something like that
