Can someone explain why you transplant clones in small pots, let them grow, than transfer in larger. Why not just place them in your desired size pot? I started my clones in 1 gallons after abundant roots because that's what the guy weed guy said to do, now they're getting bigger and I think I should transfer them to 3 gallons before they top over. Whats the easiest way, and does it stress them at all?

Growing in 3 gal pots. 60% Coco,40% Perlite, and 1 in of hydroton on the bottom of pots.

Should I continue to bring them outside during the daytime to soak under natural light?

Can I combine SOG and soil growing? as in, grow plants seperately, but cut off their lower budding sites so the plant focuses all of it's THC producing energy to the cola and get a huge cola?

let it evaporate overnight so that all of the chlorine and fluoride dissipate.

hi my name is drew i have alot of questions just starting so i have six plants growing in three gallon containers a white siberian fem, two afgan kush auto fem, and a white berry auto fem that are all about the same age around three and a half weeks i also have two short stuff blue him auto fem that are about a week and a half right now. i allready screwed up by using mg soil, soil is hard to get here. also started using mg all purpose food for veg and have the mg all porpose food for bloom. im using a 600 watt mh bulb which was on 24/0 and today i noticed the two afgans are starting to flower so i droped the time to 18/6 i was using tap water for the first few weeks and now im catching rain water i had the white berry start to get yellow spots and i think it could have been the tap water was not aged enough im wondering what things i can do to make them grow better and what to do when the atos are flowering and the one white siberian is not. also when to switch to the bloom nuits the first four are all about 5 to 6 inches and look really bushy and green and healthy any advise would be great just trying to get a stash quick than work on better stuff after that thanks

Is there any way that I can grow my plants indoors without all of this equipment that you all have? I am a NOOB of course and I have seeds of some blue mystic auto from Nirvana seeds.

if i'm grom in my vegg under t5s than what light should i bloom with?

I would recommend if you have the money HID all the way. I have a 600 Watt HPS waiting for my 3 clones to be ready to flower also.

Hey i live in washington i am attempting my frist outdoor grow. The humidity arowned me is always high like 60 in middle of day and 100% some nights. How mutch problems will i have with bud rott. What is the best way to prevent bud rott? any info would be greatly apreciated.

Hi newbie here. FEEDBACK WANTED..comments, criticisms, complements, tweaks, 'look outs', etc welcomed!

Setup:
Closet with shelf for upper and lower growing
(01) 6lamp 54W High Output T5 Fluorescent Fixtures Chain hung to adjust close to plant tops
box fans on either side that constantly blow plants and push hot air to the ceiling
(01) 210 CFM exhaust fan mounted in closet ceiling with 8" ducting to external vent
soil consists of 1part perlite, 1part vermiculite, 1part worm castings, 1part sand, 1part peat moss to 4 parts miracle grow potting soil with a layer of those rubber tree bark in the bottom of each pot for additional drainage
light schedule: 24hr
avg temps 70-80 degrees f.
soil ph right at 7
water schedule (see meter in picture) I usually let it get to the dry portion before I water (never sure, I know this plant does not like 'wet' soil', but with the killer draining soil I wonder if I am not watering enough..why you ask? because the tops totally POP when I water, which on the large orange 5gal pots is about 1 quart a day on average...comments?)
Strains: everything except in the small white pots is a clone.
2 Large plants on the right are GODBUD,
the 2 Large plants to the left are LSD,
the 2 smaller clones in the black pots are about a week in soil and are GRAND DADDY PURPLE
2 of the small seed plants in the white cups are CARMELICIOUS and 2 are UNKNOWN (they are fat leaved (looks like mint leaf!) and very stout, seeds came free with order)


upcoming mods:
going to add (02) 4' 2LAMP 54W HO fixtures vertically on either side of the closet
maybe add another 210 cfm exhaust fan

upcoming challenges:
how do I use the closet as both a vegetative grower and a flowering grower if I have to make one of the two areas 'light free'?

Would it be a good idea to use T5's in flowering if lumens are lacking?

Hi Newbie with 1000w HPS my temperature and humidity are good in a spare room but my plants and seedlings have gone completely yellow. I try watering every other day sometimes less every 3 or 4 days as overwatering leads to nitrogen def which ive read most ppl believes causes plants to turn yellow any help????

Note: i can only find Advanced Nutrients in my country so that please dont give the names of other brands

Over watering can be a big issue as well.

I'd like some help designing a 9'x 25' growroom. I'm looking at harvesting frequently...what kind of info do you need from me? I'll be building this structure from the ground up out of wood so i have plenty of flexibility....

First post and it is a question. This is my first grow, my plants are on my porch, with little natural light supplemented with MH and HPS bulbs. My grow has gone well and is now beginning to bloom, but my question is about my clones I took from them two weeks ago. The stems on my clones have turned purple. They seem to be alive but they are not growing at all. What does the purple mean and when should I see new growth?

I have these clones under flo lights and I use soil.
