SoI was sitting here yesterday afternoon getting high when I heard a chopper.... now I do understand that I live just north of a national forest and we have had problems with mexi cartels having huge weed plots (even this far north) that they look for. So I'm not exactly freaking out but if I get popped for a few plants and they wasted tax payers money using helicopters to do it.....I'm going to be super pissed. I'm not even sure if it was close enough to see them but either way... I'm not going to stress about it. What happens happens.

Your going to need the "Manute Bol cardboard cut out" real soon there 757. Nice work farmer.
I've neglected my garden this year, the serious shit starts tonight (SCROG's going up). I just finished putting in a patio and landscaped my side yard, and put up a new fence. Had to have it all done by Friday AM, so the month was dedicated to those projects. Our family and friends all came to town for my son's graduation. We had camping and a pig roast on the property, great weekend!
So now that the graduation celebration is over, my time will be spent in the garden.

Congrats bro. I can't wait to have my kids graduate high school, that's huge! Hopefully he has some good plans. My nephew just graduated and had a scholarship to Penn state but went to some small school no one's heard of cause some buddy's are. Smh.I'm sure you'll get caught up. I have some that are behind so I added a few more too. Also got put on a nice side project so I'm busy. Looking foward to a.niceVacation at the end of the year!

Thanks 757, he's the "baby", so we're "empty nesters" now (soon).
He wants (is) to be a firefighter. His high school has a whole firefighting program that you can choose as an elective that will earn you college credits and certificates that enables you to work as a firefighter. They have an engine, a tanker, and a full fire station on campus. He also took EMT classes after school and on weekends. As a firefighter he would have made $17+ an hour, but as his crews EMT he makes $26+ an hour (he's on his 7th straight day of 12 hour days, welcome to the real world son).
He's now working for the U.S. Forest service this summer, and will attend college at Columbia college (not that Columbia, but the CC in the Sierra foothills) and study fire science.
I'm very proud of the boy, he set his path and is now following it. All you could ask for as a parent.

Rightfully proud. Sound like he has a good head on his shoulders and a work ethic to go with it. I got so much respect for fire fighters and cal fire especially. Those guys are bad ass I went to school for fire science(jersey city university) when I was his age. Wanted to be a fire fighter/inspector myself. Got hit by a car as a pedestrian and got a bad spine now.
