About a year ago my fiancee and I traded Midwestern city life in Ohio for our own little slice of paradise in Nor Cal and have not regretted a second of it. 10 acres in the sierra nevada foothills.
Not that anyone asked my opinion, but if we're talking about growing weed....
There's a reason why the big farms in the midwest are predominantly soy and corn, and in Cali they grow everything from rice to nuts, and every U.S. based vineyard and olive farm you've ever heard of is in Cali
Its the sun! One thing everyone on this thread knows for sure : more light = bigger plants. Especially for the Mary Jane. I haven't seen a cloud in a month and on july 23 Im still getting 14 hrs + of sunlight. No matter how talented of a grower you are, you just don't get those conditions in the middle of the country.
I am born and raised a Buckeye, but I dont miss home.

Not cool.... life is already hard enough without hearing heartless people make fun of tragedies.
And btw I didn't mean that cali doesn't have good growing ...just that I couldn't stand the crime and droughts.

Eveyone that I know from cali are gang members or x cons lol but 4o be fair most ppl I know are x cons...just not many gangs here lol..and yea i agree that's pretty shitty...we have had bad flooding in my state but it was due to man not mother nature mostly ...it's been dry ad fuck in my area for years too but not as bad as what I hear in Cali ....it can be flooding here one day and two days later the water is low...it's not just one state it everywhere....I enjoy seeing your big ass plants ..don't leave lol

We were lucky to have found our home in the hills, I havent heard a car since we moved in, amazing neighbors and plentiful water. Cant ask for much more.
More hippies than gangs in my neck of the woods, they make much better neighbors.
