I water cure once ina while, bad to do if your movin the shit because it drops about 20% weight, it technically makes the bud more potent because what it lost was the nitrogen and other bad shit and no thc so the thc to mass ratio becomes higher but it definitely makes the bud hit smoother. -MK:joint::joint:

Never heard of water curing? I don't think, haha. If anyone has a link or some info it would be greatly appreciated.

I do it for some of my personal stash, but do the traditional air dry/jar cure for the rest. Water curing makes you lose a lot of weight and bag appeal.

all i gotta say about water curing is........I read somewhere that you dont have to flush 2 weeks before harvest, so with 1 out of 4 of my plants, i tried it. Ya the smoke was really HARSH and the buds are really dark colored almost looks like DIRT WEED but its PURE BURMESE SATIVA so i will be making bud brownies/cannabutter out of it, lol! and the stuff i air dried and jarred and slow cured is SUPURB! Awesome smoke, i suggest anyone looking for a good sativa, Burmese is the way to go if you can control the Pungent Smell its so sweet smelling!!

yeah i just smoked my first bowl of it and its potent thats for sure. it still crackeled and sparked a bit, i think i only did it for 6 days maybe. i dont know i stay high all week and shit jumbles together. anyways harsh smoke, but really good texture. i think since it was just my last bagseed grow that is one reasone it tastes weird. it sure does its job though

did you read my post? I was just talking about this shit the other day, haha. My buddy did a water cure bouta week ago and he said that it was a royal shit ton stronger than normal, but so I've heard it steals some bag appeal (unless you're really into dark bud). But anyways, good luck and enjoy.

I've done it a couple times. Doesn't help potency but it does make it a lot smoother. It takes most of the chlorophyl out. I let mine set for 7 days submerged. It always looks like shit though. Turns dirt brown.

heh.. not to be harsh, but that doesn't make sense. If it removes something from the weed (in this case chlorophyll) then it removes mass, then you have a higher THC/volume ratio. It sure does increase the potency.

yeah but who gives a fuck really if it loses bag appeal, just tell em hey its stronger sand then what, there not gonna buy it yeah right. it still has no seeds so it was devoted to making thc. thats it

Yep keep your bag appeal along with your temperature cured purple weed. Bag appeal doesn't mean shit.

around my parts... bag appeal is everything..... im starting to think mass producers use water curing since it doesnt take so long... reg weed is like real dark to light green. like the clorphyll was sucked outta it.... and its dry as hell and not dense.... reg to me is like some water cured, 5% THC bullshit....

With no disrespect intended, this is a nonsensical thought process. Regs is typicaly mass produced, seeded, hastily dried, compressed and poorly stored pot. Much of it, prior to it's compression looks as good or better than much of what is on here. Though most probably is grown without love. When it leaves the field it is treated as any one of our commercial, proccessed "schwag" food products lining our grocers shelves.

I wouldn't know much about that here... they don't sell shitty weed. But I still don't hear about a lot of people watercuring. I don't see why a piece of shit dealer would use a technique that is kind of uncommon though?
