Who Else Can LUCID Dream?

LUCID dreaming in short, is basically you "knowing" when your dreaming. Meaning, during a dream (While sleeping) you are "aware" that you are "in" a dream, your not just carelessly dreaming until you awake. I can do this & have found it quit interesting & would like to know if anyone else can?

I probably L.D. three-times a week. When I do, I like to fly, or jump really high (20ft' or better), or I like to explore things around the dream, put myself in the middle of baseball stadiums during games while making myself invisible to everyone. I can do these things & it's fun to know I have 100% complete control over my alternate-reality, I can do anything my mind imagines, it's a video-game, in real-time.

I'd like to know what other people do when they L.D.? I would like ideas & also tips on how to stay asleep when L.D.? I can usually control the dream for a few minutes before I am forced to wake up.

I've always been able to do it, are you asking "how to" L.D.? I can help point you in that direction because there is techniques I use which makes me aware I'm dreaming. The thing is, when you L.D. it's hard to say "Okay, to L.D. you need to look at your hand when dreaming..." because by looking at your hand it will NOT look like a normal hand, you will have more or less fingers or your hand will be oddly shaped, etc. A dream always alters the hand, therefore if you look at your hand your brain will tell you something is wrong with it, then your brain will ask itself why, & it will realize it is dreaming, thus allowing you to know your dreaming.

This is the #1 way of opening your mind to L.D. but I still don't understand how it works. Because if you have the ability to remember to look at your hand when dreaming, then that tells me your already L.D. because you told yourself to look at your hand, you cannot do that unless you knew you were in a dream. Maybe the hand theory is just a way of opening your mind MORE to L.D.?

I have flew further, highest I've gone is over trees, probably 45ft'. I usually don't "fly" either, I actually take leaps & sort of float back down at a sllllloooooowwwww speed.

I hate when I fight in dreams! I always feel like shit. Same thing happens to me, I always manage to get myself in position to do damage (Get on the top, or just control the person) but then when it's time to do damage like punch, it goes really slow & painless for them. I always think to myself that people are watching & thinking I suck at fighting & I'm going to have people talking shit after. Which makes it even harder to fight because now I'm thinking of how much I suck, so it makes me suck more. Lol.

Fighting is always a bad idea in dreams. It's a lose/lose situation.

I believe I started L.D. during nightmares when I was younger. I think it helps. Try to watch scary movies or think bad thoughts before falling asleep. Once your in the nightmare, naturally you want out. Therefore your mind tries to figure ways to get out of the current mindset, or situation, this is the best time to think to yourself "Your in a dream." it's almost like a game, you literally have to think your dreaming at an exact moment, otherwise it won't work. Dreams tend to last only a few seconds anyway so you have to gather that thought that your dreaming before you continue on to the next dream.

Every new dream you start, your ending your previous dream, therefore your ending your previous thoughts, so it's like starting over. Google it for better techniques, it's hard to help when you've always had it, lol.

I've tried this, I had no idea there was a legit name for it, the problems I have is even though I know I'm dreaming I still think logically and therefor its difficult to get shit to just appear or to have super human powers. Also recently my dreams have been where I cant move, can't talk, or anything and everything is uncomfortable but I just cant move these are the worse. I always wake up from these jumping up and breathing hard as well as I'm always fucking thirsty as hell

man LD happened to me ONCE in my life. It lasted a whole bunch, I was actually able to fly, really high, like ... I don't know.. I just had to do a backflip and I was in the air. I remember it really well even if it happened about 15 years ago, but that was it... tried a few times again, different techniques, but I couldn't ever do it again. Also, since I've been smoking, few years now, I go to bed super stoned almost every night, and there are times I hope I get to LD while high, but no success again. it's very frustrating to get the taste of something you like, and then find it impossible to get it again :)

yeah I started LD in nightmares young too. I agree about thinkin about a twisted thought before crashing. I usually think XXX stuff so I have a goood dream. I find if u think a scary thought just for a sec. and forget it. u'll probably dream about it
