Its good to see your letting them go, you can see how they have fattened up. You are seeing more hairs because its the end of the plants life cycle and she is trying to get pregnant thats why she fattens up so much at the end. Resin is a defense for the plant and it not being impregnated stresses it, which is why it puts off more resin in the end as well, which means more weight along with the new calyxes.

yeaaa i chopped my white widow and it still had sum white hairs.. no matter what.. weneva u chop a plant theres gonna still be a few white hairs here adn there.. they stand out alot while ht eplant it still ripe.. but once u chope her down and dry out the buds... the white hairs wont stand out as much.

and the most "accurate" spot would be the middle of the plant.. because the plant ripens from the bottom up.. soo if u check the trichs.. im sure u will have more amber trichs on the lower buds.. if u want.. you can always harvest sum now. adn some in a few days. i did that last time. i harvested the lower buds 1st.. since they were more ripe.. and let the top buds go for a couple more days.. adn if gives ur hands a break from trimming.. cuz i like to trim ALL the leaf off.. soo it takes me like 8-10 hrs to completely harvest and trim 1 plant. lol. its a lil longer than most ppl take. lol. but i like to try to make it perfect.

if u want.. u can go to the search bar.. adn go 2 advanced search,, and then go down to where it sais search by name.. adn type in my name asdn u can look at my last grows and see what mine looke dlike wen they were trimmed.. u can see the white hairs on it still

fuck it.. lol. i went and got the links to my journals for you.. adn i even copied the URL from the page that has all the harvest pics on it.. soo u dont have to spend 20 min searchin each page for the harvest pics.. lol.

heres my last grow..... https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-growing/325364-chris-2nd-white-widow-mystery-41.html

and heres the 1 White Widow grow.... https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-growing/288470-nirvanas-feminized-white-widow-cfl-69.html

they are both Nirvanas White Widow.. grown under CFL's.. and both harvest at around 8 weeks.. the 1st 1 was at like 8 weeks exactly.. and the 2nd was a few days after.

hope this helps.. and u kno wats funny.. i was gonna send u the link to fdd's thread called want 2 kno wen ur plants r finished.... lol. but i just looked and u already posted sum pics up. =) if posssible.. u might wanna try 2 get a couple close up pics of the buds for him soo he can get a better look at the hairs and stuff.. will just help him give u a better guess

Hows the Coletrain coming along? My Coletrain is the runt of my group, but Im sure it will pick up and no doubt be just as big as the rest, runts tend to do that. Veg is boring for the most part, another month to go for me then 12/12. I would say give them a bit more time going by the trichomes, you will usually have a few white hairs at the tip of the top in the end. And Im pretty sure cannabis plants mature top to bottom. At least everyone of the outdoor plants I have grown did. I was always able to take the top first, then leave the lower buds to finish up.

Usually your first calyx will show somewhere near the top, the buds will finish top to bottom, you will notice thats how they form on the plant as well. The top gets the most efficient light, so it finishes before everything else. Im pretty sure about that. Ive done so many full sized plants and everyone of them grew that way.
