trying to be an herb ninja, i have another plot of pot going. these babies are in their 6th week of veg, and i just added some 12-10-5 today. the plants are about a 12" tall and i gave them each about 2 tbsp of food. i dug up a bit around the plants and just mixed it in about 4" into the soil. don't have feminized seeds so keepin my fingers crossed. the plants situated about 5 ft from each other. the smaller of the 3 germed at the same time as the others but the shade is really hindering its growth. even outdoors with all factors just about constant, the difference in lighting is very evident. notice that i have topped them very early, the main stem is very short with the topped branches starting very low. i wonder if a new main cola will form in brtween the 2. hopefully these girls will be bigger than my other girls in the tub. hehe(i have the same strains going about a month earlier in another posting) i cant wait for them to flower... if you think you can help me grow better, please feel free.

disneyland gets great weather this time of year

just pics. the small one decided to catch up! nutes really do help...or is it just coincidence. hehe and i using the weeds around it as cover. wonder if that would affect the overall quality of the plant. im not so concerned about the yield than the quality. but ill worry about that when i get to :joint: these babies!!

made the trip out to check today, and i am so glad that i did. im not sure but pretty positive that those are balls growing on what was the smallest of the 3 plants. last update i noticed that it did grow a lot more than the others but the growth was a bit off in that it produced a large fan leaf that was very unsymmetrical. is this a charateristic of flowering? think it makes sense. but i pulled that boy immediately and tossed it. i would have taken more pictures but didnt want my girls gettin raped, so i high tailed it outta there. i think the other 2 are girls. the growth is very stable between nodes. fingers crossed!

:peace:

its been a while and my girls have grown a bit. we got a good 2 weeks worth of june gloom in socal so growth should be picking up rather rapidly. i also had a question about nutes...3rd week flowering in soil is it still recommended to use nutes or should i just keep it organic? i think FDD should teach a class on outdoor growing. id pay for that...

well my plants were doing really well but i think the long hot summer days have stunted their growth a lilttle bit. also im not sure but i thinkt he pants went back into veg due to more than 12 hours of light. im hoping thats why the first plant does not have any impressive bud growth. hope that will change with time. they were so little!!! hehe
