it depends how yellow. if its still as yellow, youre good to go. ive had way yellower (if thats a word) leaves come back completley on my plant. oh and i got this from a verniculite thread.

I've had a little too much vermiculite in my mix and it was making it hard for the pots to drain off between waterings and i ended up with medium PH problems so i spent last night washing all the vermiculite out with a siv so now im only using expanded clay with charcoal and a little perlite to fill in the gaps at the top , and already this morning my plants are looking much happeir with me.
Im gonna steer clear of it in future myself but i have found out since that u shouldn't use more then 1/3rd in the mix because it causes zinc issues when u use more then that, but i guess every strain is different because one of my strains were showing classic signs of zinc toxicity and the others were fine however i potted them all on the same day and they were all in the same medium.

also someone said in that thread that they grew in 100% vermiculite, so i guess it all depends on the grower.

also.. What's the deal with vermiculite? I got some yesterday and transplanted my mm plant from the coke bottle into a 1.2gal pot. 50/50 mix with potting mix and vermiculite..

I fed it watered it and its moisture retention is a lot higher than expected.. I thought the stuff airs up soil?? Is 50/50 too much then?
what up jrk152 u told me already a est. Price on the set-up can can u give me a lil more detail i would like to get my material in a few days just havent pieced it all togetha

Stretching between the nodes has slowed and the flowers startin to put on some mass. Pistils shootin out like crazy, especially on the WW

The mama mia plants are turning out to be a compact one with fatter and thicker leaves than the WW or the bagseed plant.

Still finding the lower leaves going yellow..

Now 21 days flowering, buds startin to fill in.

Yellowing of lower fan leaves got worse today and its moving up.. fed them today with a full dose of all-purpose plant food because of the higher N content it has.

hopefully the feeding puts a stop to this, its reaching the third node already for the white widow plant

anyway, PICS

Starting to give up on the yellowing leaves.. spreading upto the middle leaves now. Its a tricky problem as I don't want to be feeding them too much N at this stage of flowering.. any suggestions?

Anyway.. pics

still the most vigourous in terms of side branches and flowers, but the actual buds already fall behind in mass compared to the WW buds. I'm just pleased it has turned out so well for a bagseed plant, and I know exactly what my smoke is going to be like

the three 12/12 from seed white widows.. looking a bit underdeveloped for 26 days into flowering? what do you guys think?

I released most of the LST ties from the bigger ones as the buds are starting to fill in between the nodes so I'll be letting them grow more or less normally from now on, tying down branches only if necessary. This is the mama mia 1 plant, starting to form a main cola

mama mia 2, had a rough veg time hence the smaller size but it got back on track once the lights were flipped to 12/12 and looks like its gonna become one single bud.. this one actually has produced the most resin so far, covers most of the top :eyesmoke:

white widow 1 plant, also forming a main cola.. the WW plants have had problems with nutes, soil and havent gone as smoothly as the bagseed or the mama mia plants, but still has the biggest bud development so far :joint::eyesmoke:https://www.rollitup.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=560346&stc=1&d=1253954634

The light had to be put higher to let room for the colas to grow into  especially as I won't be doing any training on the mama mia 2 or the 3 baby WWs.

comments appreciated!

no no no please dont leave me yet i need more bud porn you cant just cut me off cold turkey like that how cruel.. honestly this is one of the neatest and cleanest productives soil grows ive seen at the low cost level keep up the good work. also its nothing wrong with mh flowering just less yeild ive heard but if you add a few cfl's to the mix for a more full spectrum you can recapture the yeild lost just a thought..im using the same basicly mh250 all the way through but at flowering time i add 4x cfl's 42watt and 4xcfl's 23watts closer to the bud sights and as ive seen so far others have turned out great..peace pot prosperity...

Thanks for the kind comments all, its good to hear that youre on the right track :)

ryanriot yes I'm flowering with a MH.. started this first grow ghetto and added fans/lights/nutes along as I went.. they're only in the closet for 3-4 hours a day anyway, out in the sun for most of the day.

stinkbudd1 I agree that I'd do better with a few CFLs added, I did have a couple 2700w CFLs in there when I started them flowering but ran out of space quickly and I can keep the temperatures a couple degrees lower without it.. all about weighing up the pros and cons heh.. best thing about the 250w is that I can get it down to 6" away from the tops and keep temps between 77-79. I'll probably be upgrading to a hps for my next round but sticking with 250w rather than a 400w as heat can be an issue in a closet.

ladies and gentlemen as you know im always looking for an advantage at less cost to us i ran accross these while doing some reserch yesterday and would like to share them with you all im going to give them a try for sure at this price and the fact that they are metal halide that run off of regular E26 medium household sockets no ballast needed is outstanding....2 of these for veg and add your cfl's for flowering in my case 4x 42 watts 2700k and 4x 26 watts 2700k.. i hope this is good info ..peace pot prosperity
