It's up to you, but I personally don't see any benefit to having the pH that low. It might not cause you any problems but I definitely wouldn't go any lower than 6.1. I don't know what you gain by having it at 6.1 instead of 6.5 though.

Lol ok you two (Dutchgrower & Antigen) the plants now have a PH of 6.5 and the plants seem to be healthy, anyways thanks again guys I will keep you updated, also I have transplanted them very carefully into a 3-gallon container and they also seem to like that.

Are they in 5 1/2 square inch pots? They look like they are. If so I suggest you to transplant them to a 3 gal pot and let the plant do its own thing. Roots gotta grow in order to get good buds.

That sounds excellent, I'm sure they will love all the new room to grow their roots! :D

Oh, and when you say you planted them into a 3 gallon container, you mean you put each plant into its own separate 3 gallon pot, right?

youre problem here is lack of light getting through
You're an idiot cheese...... the problem here is PH being below 6.2. I've had many plants do this and all I do is add a little baking soda to the water when I water them and they bounce back. Wood ash also works. PH up works too though if you wanna spend the cash. Good luck!

You can use baking soda in an emergency to raise your pH, but don't use it all the time. Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate, and your plants will not like all that sodium building up in the soil. Just spend the $15-$20 to get a bottle each of pH UP and pH DOWN instead of trying to use other things to substitute for them.
