white widow, from seed, from online seed shop. using nft 250 watt, basic hydro kit from growell.

gwoing at home, in the loft. i am , got lodger who knows about it. anyway. first problem, no power out in the loft. so have called 3 sparkys, still no power, so i making do with runnin a 4 way extension up there. Just to test it all out. so these shots, are literally a mock up, the nft tank is emty. Seeds still got a week, with no nutrients and no need for hydro. Still get get elctrician in first and clear it all away!.

Feel free to comment.

this is miy third grow, second hydro grow, 1st attic grow.

paranoid my rents who actually own the house mite discover the gro op!!!
anyway crackin on regardless!!!!

so 6 seeds have been in an airing cupboard in the dark, in some tissue, moist, and warm.

5 have sprouted, but still 2 days in i have put them in mini grodan cubes and put them pack in the seedling propogator.

as you casn see they are well away from the lights, hopefully when they pop their little heads up they will be sufficiently starved from light for a few days.

well I decided to go ghetto
and run a power cable out the side of the house into a top floor window.!! for the time being anyway.

I have put up the whit plastic, filled the nft, and sorted out the ph level. so far, got a few more days before anything happens i reckon!

heres more pics...........oh and i got CCTV hahaha

so its been weks now since i first put the seeds in e papr towel reckon they re 3 inches and as u canserom:leaf::leaf::leaf: the pics i have deiddtogo forscrog
ven tho i d ave enough space.

i think 3 weeks lft of vg then 9 wees flowering

Ok so now htis things gonna change dramatically , infact it already has.

The long and the short of it is my attic grow space has been busted, its was something that i kinda knew would happen. I ahve managed to convince my mum that i have 20 tomoto plants, up there, infact i do have tomato plants, but i only just put the seed in the cube!


anyway
I have had to rethink my operation, and make it even more STEALTH! i now have to conceal the grow from my mum, who is now suspicious so i have my work cutout. The conclusion i have come to at the moment, week 4 since the seeds arrived.

I am now planning on Growing six lovely white widow plants, in my cupboard, in the bedroom! i hope that this will be the safest place, and i cant think of any reason why my mum or anyone else would go into my bedroom cupboad/closet!

so i have put the scrog screen up and hung the lights, the babies are down from the loft, in the tank, with the same nutes and water.....it was an epic mission but it is now done, and i have several other jobs/problems now.

1. Its too hot. My 250w son t lamp is way too hot for the space, and thats with the ballast outside! i think i might stick ti CFL envirolite type bulbs, cheaper too!

2. light seepage, I have almost cracked it, but i want 100% no light escaping.

3. exhaust, i think i will install a pc fan in the back wall of nthe closet!

4. smell....i havent got to that stage yet!

yer, she went in the attic with the builder who was qouting for some work!!! luckily i had covered the are with white mylar, and turned the light out.... still...........she didnt believe i was growing tomatoes in the loft!!!

I have moved the grow to my closet..


I have installed a PC FAN,

removed my 250w son t lamp

this was way too hot for the closet

I am now growing with 2 65w greenlamps

equiv of 325 w each...

1 is BLUE light

1 is RED light

I read somewhere that this combination will be fine during flowering and that it is the light cycle not spectrum that is important in flowering.

SO ITS FLOWERING TIME

just emptied resrervoir........clean water, new BLOOM nutes.

12hours light cycle starts today (MY BIRTHDAY!)

hears some pics for you.


THE LST is goin well.....i think the stems are splitting and some shoots will come out...we will see...

OH i also planted four more seeds in SOIL this time so in few days they shoudl be raising their head...again white widow.

Just a side note, ive noticed the the spiral CFL put more light out of the sides of the bulbs then the tops(checked with light meter), Looking good man. My only suggestion is to add more light as they get older, and get the cfls closer maybe? depends how hot they are, with just a fan blowing directly on the bulbs they cool down ALOT the you can get those right on top of the plants, i have mine about 1-3 inches from the buds, Feel free to check my grow, the link is in the sig. Ok first off I would do a SOG instead of a SCROG. I think you could fit about 20 plants in that space. You'll get more bud. As far as smell goes -> https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/7074-easy-build-diy-carbon-filter.html I would make a smaller one to fit in your cabinet with a computer fan sucking the air in the cabinet through the charcoal filter and out the cabinet. By the way you have balls growiing with your parents living with you. That shit is going to STINK!

Wow, those are tiny to be in flower!! I take it that is the point if you are doing SOG/SCROG though? Sorry not too familiar with those past the general.

cheers man, i really didnt know that about cfl's i will try and mount them differently maybe make a reflector or something.

thanks bro i will go and check your grow.........i also have a 250 watt sodium...which i will prolly use....its just not very stealthy!!

your right they are tiny....well ive read conflicting views....some ppl use 12/12 all the way through for cutting to bud....imma try this!!

Ok so what a week.. lots of activity.... on bad side...i found 2 males....the strongest plants, so i ripped em , out...imma grow em elswehere! maybe not the wisest idea?

anyway so 2 less plants! bitch.... i lost 2 seeds, that went bad whilst in the airing cupboard...i put em in soil...bad idea! not enough energy to breakthrough so they went mouldy.


i have taken lots of cutting and now have maybe 10 mini cutting in my propgator.

I hope they all survive. as 4 plants is DEFO not enuff!!!

so there is 2 gaps in the nft... hopefully i can fill them in 2 weeks.
