so here is the deal. i'm overcrowed. all 3 rooms. i have 15-20 different strains. one is white widow. nice plant, big buds, just not my favorite. so i have a mother, 2 in veg and 5 clones. plus a bunch in flower. i want to pass on the mother. i don't have room to flower her. i would donate her to my club but today they are closing for a couple of weeks. i can't kill her. what do i do?

i could put an ad on craigslist but i'm kinda scared. i would like to find a fellow gardener to donate them to. how do i do this? we need a secret network.

FDD... experiment with her...

do some radical pruning and then flower her.... or tie her down so that she is super SMALL.... try something you would not normaly DO....

just a suggestion...

cheers

i like that. i have a few to play with. i want to graft on a strawberry. i've read where two different plants can be grafted together. their dna does not mingle but they do grow. just imagine a pot crossed strawberry.

i'll have another short cake please.

funny you say that but i sweat to you this is the truth. my grandfather used to grow everything including smoke. I think that is where I get my love for it. this man took an apple tree and grafted a limb from an orange tree. i'd be damned if it didn't bear both fruits. the following winter, it died, but the old man actually took an apple tree and made it bear oranges.

i've read a little about this. i think as far as grafting goes it is a pretty big playing field as far as what will work together. there are also different therories. i have miniature fruit trees that are a regular fruit tree branch grafted onto a dwarf stump. but in order to get a strawberry that you can eat and get high you would actually have to cross dna to get the berry to produce resin. though they may grow off the same stalk they will remain seperate plants.

some pretty cool stuff.

ive read that plants need to stay in the same family.. like u can graft weed to hops(cousins), but not to bamboo or maple
