Well i thought its a foot per gallon, so wouldn't they grow taller if transplanted into 5 gal pots?

Mine is in week 5 of veg. I've taken 4 clones from it. It had spider mites when I got it, was beat up real bad. I got it back into shape and it has grown very easily ever since then. It's in a 5 gallon bucket and was taking 1/2 strength MG feeding with no problems (always reaching and healthy) and now takes FULL strength Hesi 1 part and has the same vigor. Good plant from all my experience, but I'm not even flowering yet. Lol.

Some new updates! more pics! The strawberry cough is showing some signs of either nute burn or N deficiency any thoughts? I have been using tap thats been sitting out for all the plants and have been feeding no nutes to the strawberry cough....unfortunatly I think I may have given it water with nutes but am not sure.

I also planted a Giga Bud fem seed. The bagseed in the top chamber is looking good. They are over a ft tall and about 10 inch or so away from the light now. I started flowering at 1 ft tall and the size of the chamber (not grow space) is about 4.5 ft tall or so. I hope I dont run out of room!
You will have height issues in case it has not been answered yet.
Good luck mate!

Well at the moment they are in pots that are a little less then two gallons and there is about 1ft in a half left of space. This is the trial run so if worst came to worst I will mount the light outside the box and finish the grow but I would like to stay inside for this one.

Im in week 2 of flower and can move the light a little but more but like it was said above 3 gallons should be about three ft of growth right? I started flowering at 1 ft. Should I have started it sooner? If thats the case then this next round I may do that just because of the hight issue

The best way to control vertical growth would be a scrog or some severe lst, but I'm afraid that even with that a foot is just not a lot, not for this at least lol.
Usually they stretch into the 4th week of flower with most of it being done at the end of the 3rd week.
You have not got may choices. I don't even want to bring it up, but, have you considered to top them back to about a foot, you are still early enough in flower at the moment....
Good luck mate, I'll follow this. I want to see how this turns out for you.

Whats the advantage to using a screen other than cutting back the hight? Those plants look awesome

BTW, if you throw a scrog screen over them right now, you can maintain the height you have got right now, possibly gain a view inches. You can give it a thought;)

More bud sites and even light distribution.
Yeah, this grow went to shit 4th week into flower when my EC build up in the rocwool to well over 3.2 without me noticing for a week lol.
All good though got some killer weed from it, just not a lot of it.

thanks sicc.

I am getting a little worried about hite issues and possible yield and am thinking about cutting the floor out and make two chambers into only one and flower all of them at once and just repeat the process later..... now the tallest plant is about 17 or 18 inch tall the next ones are around 15 inch or so

I really am hoping for 1 oz a plant and I dont know if ill get it in the closet

Cheers Jash, can you tie them back? How much are they growing per day? Once they are to about 1/2 inch they are almost done :)

They are not growing HUGE amounts everyday, right now the tallest plant is around 22inch and the other two are 17 and 15 inch. I am having a small problem with leaves crooking a bit ....is the growth normal looking so far? The strawberry cough is doing well and has been topped a few times (going to use it as a mother) and the White Widow has been topped also doing well. Giga bud is moving along as well.

I am thinking its a P deficiency causing the leaves to crook like that....I went without watering them a few days to see if that was it and nothing changed...any thoughts?
