got both white widow plants transplanted into bigger pots with potting soil. Gave em a little dose of some 1/2 strength nutes, and can see signs of nuteburn on the tip of one leaf, so will just use regular water til there a little bigger. will get some pics posted too

Heres some pics twelve days after transplanting the WW plants from the rockwool cubes. They are Now both in larger pots, using organic potting soil with a layer of hydroton on the top to distribute water evenly.

have given two doses of FF half strength nute solution, and they seem to be taking it ok.

I got em in the flowering room righ tnow under the 400w HPS, but I read in the bible that the warmer light spectrum encourages male growth..anybody have any input on this?? have em in there for twelve, then when the light goes of for the flowering plants, I put em in the veg cab next to the humidity dome under daylight spectrum CFLs.

cant wait to start training and FIMing!

for those with any breeding knowledge...would these two plants be examples of plants showing two different phenos? White Widow A seems to a more spread out leave pattern, while white widow B is more compact.. am I thinking the right way?lol

So I just fimmed the "WW-B" plant, in hopes that it will be bush out and make for extra clones. was Fimmed just above the 3rd of 4th node, and the plants look very healthy so I figured it should handle it ok. Excited to see the new growth!

hey man quick question about the cubes and all. i have the whole net pot that fits on top of my dwc bucket. the whole net pot is filled with hydrotrons and the cube is sitting on top. is that too far from the water? should i have it in like 1 inch of hydrotons? or wqill the water vapors still make it to the roots? a tap root can grow like 12 inches in the search for water right? but im still iffy. should i be watering the cube?

yea when I was using DWC i filled about an inch of hydroton in the net pot, then put the cube in, then filled the spaces in with hydroton, and seemed to work ok.

Just woke up and fed both WW plants about 3 cups of water/nute solution. FIMmed WW-A as well, and both are looking awesome. will get some pics posted today

check out the growth in just a few days :)

as mentioned, both are fimmed, and will be lst'd, each of the new stalks tied opposite of each other. should make for a nice canopy i'd think..
looking good!
You shouldn't really fim them until they grow a third node (I may be wrong though)

good luck :joint:

Just got my WW UFOs today. Ill be keeping track of you for some pointers. Growing under CFL in about the same space as you. What kind of rate were they growing height wise before you fimmed them?. White Widows one of the strongest smokes out there man, hope youes is a knockout

I'mactually really impressed with the growth rate. it took forever to root in rockwool, and i tried jiffy cubes and generally how it goes is..soak overnight, put between towels, and within two days have em planted in a jiffy cube. another two days for em sprout, then there off. so yea, besides the slow start they seem to be lovin life lol. not sure exactly what the growth rate is or anything..but the nodes are pretty close together, and i hope to get plenty of clones :)

well hopefully you learn somethin new, thanks for stoppin by!

Nice work SC. Happy new year!
They look a little wilty, are you letting them dry out between watering (going by the weight of the pot)
Not sure how well that tape does at holding that string, have you tried putting a rubber band around your pot and pass the string through it, makes it easier to adjust too, just pull the string down a little.

yes i've noticed they dont look 100% healthy, especially the second plant. have been watering pretty regularly, think its from overwatering? ill keep an eye on em and see how dry the soil gets.

thanks for the rubber band idea!! i dont have anymore tape anywhere in the house, but i believe i have rubber bands. will try it out now!
