White Trays Or Black???

hey, I've always used white 2/4 trays but I'm helping someone set up a new system and... to me, the small amt of algae I have in my white trays is no concern. Of course, the trays are densely shaded by the foiliage, so it never gets worse than a thin layer in corners etc.. I like the reflective aspect of white. I have used black trays in S1 and do notice the lacking reflection factor.

This is trays for S2 only, what do you think, black or white??

Definitely white, it's not going to absorb the heat as much as the black.

Use some cutout panda film to cover the areas where algae could be a problem,
it's easy to remove and put back if need be and will help keep those areas even
more shaded.

I never had problems with white trays and just like what disposition84 said, white trays will never absorb too much heat which can be difficult to contain later on.
