White stuff on leaves (I know how that sounds)

The past 3 or 4 days, on one plant, I have been finding a greyish/whitish residue on one or two fingers of two or three random leaves.
It almost looks like when I put Sevin on my veggies and it gets rained on and the powder turns into a drip.
**It is only on a couple random leaves, doesn't appear to have dripped from leaves above, and is not in any of the flowers.
I haven't had any rain recently until today, and I don't get the leaves wet at all when I water, but my daytime temps have dropped the past week about 10 degrees to 80's, and my night time temps have dropped to 50's-low 60's.
Sorry, no pics because I have been clipping the affected fingers off, afraid it would spread.
Any ideas?

Well, at least it's only affecting a little of a couple leaves here and there so far.
I was just reading on peroxide, or skim milk.
Any thoughts here on preference?

There was a thread about this not too long ago.

In that thread they concluded it was most likely bird shit. Could that possibly be it?

Thanks! Wish it was, I remember that one.........
But it shows up like a couple drops of milky white water dried on the leaf.
It's not fuzzy, not on leaves above or around, and if I lick my finger, it will rub off.
It looks like after a rain, when a plant has been sprinkled with Sevin dust.
I'm still trying to decide for sure whether or not I may have dusted this when it first went into flower and started getting a couple holes in the leaves.
