Yup! Both bottles are made by a local company called mad farmer I believe. It's there 35% grade H2o2 and it's called oxygenated I think, and the other bottle is there ph down. I absolutly love House & Garden. There nutes lineup rock. There working great! Very stable ph buffers, and very little algae. There a bit on the pricey side, but amazing results over fox farm that's for sure.

DeweyKox would you be able to answer a few questions to a noobi please?...

Im on my first grow in the 6th wk of flowering (Dutch passion Blueberry) & my questions are:

1) Apart from using a microscope & check the trics for an amber complexion how else visually can you tell that the buds are ripe & needs to be chopped?

2) Ive noticed in your pics that most of your cured buds still have smaller leaf matter untrimmed, is there a reason for this?

3) Do you reuse your perlite? & if so is it easy to clean & comb out the roots?

After months of pondering I thought up of a nice neat little setup then I found your thread & said "This guy is already in the process" so Im thinking you are the perfect person to ask.

Thanks for stopping by. Ask as many questions as you like bro!

1. I go off a few things. The hairs usually all turn brown when its close to being done. The stains can differ, but usually I wait to make sure there are no more flowers sprouting out. Also looking at the trics. I like to harvest when they have all turned cloudy and beginning to turn amber. I like about 20% amber in there. Also the fan leafs start to die and turn yellow. Those are the key signs I use.

2. Yes, depends on the strain. White Rhino usually does not have too much resin on all the leafs, so they get cut off. But Belladonna, it just covers the them so much, I just don't like wasting all that goodness. So it depends on how my buds look.

3. I have not re-used perlite yet. I got my first huge bag for about 20 bucks, the second bag, the shop forgot to charge me for, so I got lazy and used new perlite as its sterile and has no PH. But I am sure I will try re-using some day. If you are to re-use, I suggest getting a large but, port a hole on the bottome and hook up a valve to it. That way you can fill it up with 10-20% bleach, and water and soap, let it soak over night, and drain through the valve the next day. Then run about 20 gallons of freash water through it to get rid if all the bleach. Then lay out to dry. Kind of a pain in the ass, but you could do it.

Are you going to grow Hydro Ebb & Flow like me? If so post some pics of ur setup!

Here ya guys go. I just chopped an 11 weeks 4 days of flowering White Rhino. It had all 70% cloudy to 30% amber trics. So it should be some knock my ass to bed time shit. Here are some other shots of 4 White Rhino's and one Belladonna.

All of these where given zero veg time!

White Rhino

White Rhino's in the back(4 of them) and the one in the front to the right with all the frost!Belladonna!

At the moment Im growing in a Atami wilma sytem but soon Ill be switch to ebb & flow, the entire grow op (mother plant, clones & flowering area) is in a 3 part cabinet. My goal is to harvest approx 1lb with a 400WHPS in a 73 X 73cm area...yes even I have my doubts which is why I was asking about growing a sativa in a 3.6L pot I think I may have to end up growing in soil to utilise the entire flowering area. Although Im new to growing Im going to give it a try but not until I have found that perfect strain.

About the "When to harvest" thing, every one seems to have different time of exactly when to harvest so I was getting confused until I came across this: https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/185387-average-amount-red-hairs-harvest.html#post2393840 whats your take on this thread?

What are the dimensions & volume of the pots you are using?

Oh & thank ever so much for answering my questions.

Dewey those girls look sweet man. Go an idea about what they are gonna weigh?

No offense iloveit, but getting an lb off 1 400w seems very unlikely, if not impossible. That would be like 2g per watt which even most pros don't pull down.

lol yea 1 pound from a 400watt single harvest would be damn near impossible

but perpetually? sure why not
It will be perpetually for sure.

I just hope I dont end up being the example, you know when another noobi comes on the scenes & attempts to do the same & somebody says "You cant do it, there was this one grower who after reading vetern grow journals thought he could do it too, after a slight moment of excitement this person gave it a go & the nut case ended up with an ounce...this person is ILoveit."

Man I hope this doesnt happen, Im beginning to think this is going to be a case of self fulfilling prophecy Doh!

Wow, looking good. Gonna pop my rhino seeds next after seeing those shots:weed:
What ya waiting on......give us an update when you get them going! I need more to compare to. Thanks for stopping by again dude!

Good for you on the system ur building. What is your height from grow medium to light? I think its going to be really hard to pull off a lb off a 400. My only harvest on a 400 was 6 1/2 ounces.

When to harvest. I would go off of what the seed co. says and try a few 1 weeks later and so on till its gets as powerful as it can get. But trics are the single best indicator to go off of as well had the fan leafs and what not with the hairs.

Good Luck!

I'm not sure, I have one that is just about dry from hanging, I will weight it tonight just for you!

Has, not yet, but saving all the trimmings. I need help in that department. Never attempted to make it. What do you recommend?

Weighing the Rhino tonight! Its not that big, I think I can get more off the bella's if I veg them just right before flowering. Bella becomes all frosting on the cake.

Sounds good dewey. I'm thinking when I switch over to a hydro SOG style grow, I'd like to give them about 1-2 weeks veg, then flower.
