White Rhino & Belladonna

I might try a trick of using some water and Sweet citrus flavor enhancer by Botanicare and doing the flush with just that. If you use the Sweet as a solid in your water it will act like an IV that you get at the hospital, the particles of fertilizer will be leached out of the plants (reverse osmosis). A guy named Stinkbud tried using the sweet to flush with and his stuff came out really sweet and tasty. Sweet has pure cane sugar in it among other things. My guess is your weed will have less hack factor (coughing) if you do a little flushing.

Al B Fuct who is one of the greatest growers on here does not flush and has done comparisons between the two and there is no difference. Think about it, in nature, do plants get flushed? Al B Fuct idea is give them nutes all the way, why limit your bud growth the last 2-3 weeks. I would imagine farmers who used cow poo would not use it as a fertilizer if there crops tasted bad or had a funky smell! Right? Now if I had some scientific experiment that showed the trace elements left behind and was the cause of bad taste and smell in the bud, and was bad for you, then I might change my methods. But for now, I cannot tell a difference what so ever. However, I do run Drip Clean on my hydro setup.

Product Description:
House & Garden Drip Clean is a extremely useful agent for anyone working with a drip or aeroponic systems. Drip Clean works like a magnet, removing dirt particles at every nutrient feeding so that the piping remains clean. Drip Clean furthermore gives plants a boost, improving their greenness and vitality.

Drip Clean is a 100% safe agent for your plants provided it is used in the correct proportion. Drip Clean contains potassium and phosphorus compounds, two very powerful and useful elements in the nutritional plan of the plant. These concern engineered compounds; one particle has been removed from their structure. The incomplete element thus works as a magnet. As molecules always seek a complete structure, Drip Clean attracts dirt particles with every nutrient feeding keeping the drip emitters or aeroponic misters squeaky clean. Drip Clean never fails and is a very effective agent against a clogged hydroponic system.

So it does keep my pipes and roots and grow medium clean from particles and dirt. I also use H202 in the rez keeping all the bad junk to a minimum. I flush and clean the res every 2 weeks. As far as getting all the nutes out of the plant, majority of it will dry out. If there is any trace elements left, I believe there going to be there no matter what. Maybe less if you flush and let the plants use it all up, but then by the 2nd week, the plant is stressing and does not have energy and nutes, and begins to die off. I chopped mine when there fully healthy and drinking there food normal. Maybe there is a difference in my bud and THC and what not VS. flushing. You might as well get your buds as dank as you can before you chop. Get my drift? I don't know if what I am saying makes sense, but it does to me and that works.

Oh and for the sweet, I use this:

House & Garden Bud-XL
House & Garden Bud-XL has the unique ability to extract sugars from the leaf of the plant and transfer them to the fruit. The fruit is thus made sweeter and its taster improved. Bud-XL also increases the size and robustness of the flower, resulting in an increase in fruit production and a greater yield.

Bud-XL uses enzyme processes to extract sugars from the large bracts to store them in the fruit or flower of the plant.

Start adding Bud-XL to the nutrient after the first flowers are formed. This is the period that the big bract loses its function. By adding Bud-XL you ensure that the plant's energy is no longer used for keeping the bract, but is directed to forming flowers and fruits.

Simultaneously, Bud-XL extracts sugars from the bract and transports them to the fruit. Use in conjunction with Shooting Powder for best results.

I went and switched the Res. to straight water and some Flora Kleen to flush the nutes out. I'll then go to sweet and water for the final part of the flush. I'm mostly doing the flush to to clean out the plumbing and salts that I have in the water here. My water starts out at 350 ppm + all by itself and then I run it thru one of those Brita water filters that takes out it down to 250 ppm, which is acceptable. I'll try what you said and do one without a flush sometime and that way I can have a comparison.

Sounds like a good way of doing it. Let me know how that test goes. Would love to see another member test it out.

We'll I decided to chop down most my plants. I had Thai Super Skunk at 13 weeks which was not doing well in this small space. It created lots of bud, but not rock hard thick bud! Most of the trics were clear to cloudy. I didn't not care much for this strain anyways, so will see how it comes out. Now if I was growing outdoor, that would be different.

Then I chopped some White Rhino. These were mostly cloudy to amber. Which is good cause its a Indica. Harvested them at week 10

I also chopped some very small but all rock hard bud from what I had for the belladonna. These were completely all cloudy. Harvested at week 10. Last time it was week 9 or 8, so this should be more dank.

Anyways, from here on out, I will be working to grow larger clones, and less. This is taking up too much of my time. It ain't easy to grow good weed! I will keep this thread open and only grow White Rhino & Belladonna for now. By the way, these belladonna's are much harder to root then White Rhino! That last pic is some scissor hash! Yummy!

Enjoy and keep your eyes open for bud porn!

I think its going to be dry soon with the high temps rolling in and air circulation in the garage. I think drying them out in there might be good with humidity high from the dryer. Will see. I usually dry them inside, but had friends over.

Day 2 and buds are still sweating! I think 3 more days, and ready for the paper bag special for a day or so, and off to the jars! I would love to speed the process up, but then, I want some good tasting smooth bud. Will keep you guys posted.

I did, but I am down to 2 out of 8. Heat and dry out is what got them! I think I might try another method of cloning. I need something for the lazy. I need something that is automatic feeding and I don't need to mess with. I had people over and left my clones unattended for 2 days. :(

Hey Dewey, I am really happy with my aerocloner. It's expense is under 50 bucks and I have yet to lose a clone. I have not screwed with my ph for 3 days and I just find roots. I started using some cloning gel and I have noticed that they don't even lose a leaf to nitrogon leaching. Biggest investment would be a timer and you can get one off of ebay for 25-30 bucks. Good luck

Some other guy did the work on the pdf files. I just copied and pasted off of the forum. My only advice is get a good dark Rubbermaid container and make sure the lid fits the tub well, you might have to try a few different tops with the containers. Any good root starter should do just fine just add it to the tub. Any ?'s just ask, I'm a rookie but my grass is green.

Thanks, I'm sure I will have a few questions like what goes in the water? Ph levels? Any nutes or superthrive. I have cloning gel and also Schultz Take Root Powder. The powder always worked better then the gel, but maybe in this type of application, the gel it better?
