White powdery mildew on buds :(

So I recently harvested some of my cheese strain weed dried it (not too much) and put it in jars. I open them every few days let some air get in there and so on. Tonight I saw some white powdery stuff in my jars:wall:
So I removed the weed that had that mold on it and placed it back on my quickcure drying rack. The rest of the weed that wasn't infected is in jars with no lid. Question now, is there anything I can do to rid my infected weed of the mold like a spray or something. I'd hate to throw away a good QP for this please help.

Id just add it to your trim an make BHO ... Make sure your buds are dry before jarring... Maybe add the paper bag method in between drying an jarring?

"Washing away powdery mildew" is a fucking joke... If you could just wash it off the plant, it wouldn't be such a royal pain in the ass to deal with. The powdery mildew penetrates into plant cells, which means you CANNOT simply wash it off. And it doesn't need to be alive to cause health problems. The toxins produced by molds and mildews don't magically disappear when the fungi dies.

You'll hear many opinions about this topic, but here's mine: The infected bud is trash, and should not be used in ANY way....

It pisses me off that Cervantes the "expert" recommends this. He should know better...

It's bud mold not PM.

Since you obviously grew and harvested it...you would have seen PM long ago.

Only opening the jars every couple of days is what killed you. I live in Colorado ( low low RH ) and I can jar up starting to powder buds and a few hours later...marshmallows.
For the first week I open 2 to 3 times a day, even dumping them back onto the drying rack occasionally.

Bud mold is way bad.

YUP...Long term jarring is good if it's dried properly(stems snap)
If the stems are still bending, then I wouldn't jar it for long term.
If you burp them every 2-4 hrs. (indulging in the stash), then you can have a little bend in the stems.

Good to know I took what I had that wasn't mildewy and set that aside I should have more than enough for myself till the next harvest. It's really too bad. It seems like you get somewhere then you run into a new problem. Well I'll DEFINETLY know better for next time. It's crazy how much you learn each time you go through a harvest. Always perfecting your craft adding new things to each harvest. Always searching for that perfect harvest. I've had bugs on a prior harvest killed them as best as possible. Had temp problems I added an exhaust and carbon filter. Temp still to high, added an intake that made all the difference in the world. Killed entire harvests only to start over (root rot). Now mold :( Next time. next time.
