White pistols turning brown 2 weeks into flowering?

So one of females has been flowering for two weeks today, and the first white pistols are turning brownish, which you can see in the first picture. The white hairs growing everywhere else are fine as you can see in the second picture. Is this a normal thing for them to do so early? If not, what could be the problem?

We are exactly at the same stage in our grows. My plant is 2 weeks into flowering and i noticed yesterday that some of my hairs already started to turn a little brown. And I'm growing a white strain. I think its normal for it to happen a little, but it could just be genetic. I raised my lights just incase they were toasting my hairs.

Cool, that's good to hear. I thought it could be burning also, but the hairs closer to the light are still white. I guess moving my light higher can't hurt.

all it means is that that calyx has had its attempt at getting pollen so it has passed away, you get that a little bit on the few random ones where light doesnt penetrate too well its not where your going to be getting the bud from anyway so dont sweat it.
