White hairs = tichromes ?

What I don't understand is if the white hairs are the tichromes everyone keeps talking about.

I know they store THC. But for example if I have small buds now in 3-4 week of flower, does it already have THC in it?

white hairs are called pistils - they are not trichomes
the trichomes are near microscopic 'glands' that cover bud(and leaf to some extent)
to view the trichomes you need a magnifier of about 20-30 magnification power
at 4 weeks your buds will have minimal thc, especially compared to what you will have in another 4-8 weeks
how many weeks depends on strain

As trichs become numerous you can see them easily. They look like sugar coating forming on buds and nearby leaves. To examine them closely and tell when to harvest you do need magnification.

The white hairs you see are pistils not trichomes. Trichomes are the crystals that form on the buds and surrounding leaves - that's the thc. It's difficult to see them with the naked eye - best viewed with a small microscope from radio shack or with a very strong magnifying glass. The trichomes appear to be stalks with a bulbous mushroom like head - they start clear, then turn cloudy, then turn amber. That is what determines the ripeness of the buds. Mostly cloudy = head high, mostly amber = body stone. I would imagine that after 3-4 weeks of flower you have trichomes forming.

The all meaning of the white hairs bro is to catch male pollon whitch we stop the plants from haveing.The t.h.c will for from the small section on each internode where you normaly have a couple of small leaves.Also the thc will als appear on the main cola,This needs to be topped so you get two instead of the one.The thc glads will form around these white pistiols i would also for topping more that one brance then these intern will give you 2 main cols'a but that is you prefrance.Some guys like to grow one big cola and i my self leave the main cola and just top the side brances.Make sure that you flush once aweek if you only have at most 6 plants jusyt put them over the bath and flush with ph of around 5.0/5.5.This i call the greenhouse way the plants yeild alot more fore you by doing this.If the cannabis that you are growing is for your self then if it is a 8 week strain let it go 2 more weeks i have had plants that have been unnoticeable by doing this.You will notice that the white hairs get thick then a secondry set are sent out this will continue in this way till harvest.But i would flush the plants for 2 week but you can do them in a week if you want.But dude get into flushing and the plants will through you some monster nugs.I have done big grow rooms small but i have two flowering cabs now both are around 2 and harf mtr's/1 and harf mrt's but i only grow a max of 3 in each and this is if i want a little break from growing otherwise i just have the 2 plants in each in big containers.my next 4 will be 2 trainwreck favourite strain now love it dence buds evrywhere.The next room will be 2 white widow that i have crossed with a blueberry strain.I will post the pictures to show you results of grow i have now i have 3 trainwreck 19.5% thc [shit] this blows your head off.And i have 2 other strains in one peacemaker not strong but a great smoke and the final but not the least the church this strain stinks genetics are skunk/super skunk need i say more.
