the good ones?

then its not ripe.

you can still answer the question there that doesnt relate to subcool. i will ask it again at the end.

but nobody can back that up because refuse to show anyone anything bla bla. i guess if i was doing this illegally i wouldnt post pics either but you can post pics from ten years ago without risk.

im having a hard time understanding what their studies prove. i will admit that trichs change color in the process but my whole point is one needs to wait for two things to happen before its ripe:hairs receed and darken, trichs change to mostly amber. usually the trichs change first. therefore i said fuck trichs. look at the pistils.

heres the bottom line, this guy is asking what to do, his plants are still hairy but the trichs are colorful. your suggesting not to wory about the hairs. these hairs....

so again i will ask you why are you suggesting this plant is finished?
IMHO that plant doesn't look near done to me. I don't know if it has 30-50 days or not but I'm with you on this one. That plant does NOT look ripe in the least. The reality is that a lot of people prefer different things. I know people who actually prefer premature bud. They like the buzz. I personally do not but if a person is only growing for themselves then the best way to tell if the plant is done is to sample it and adjust accordingly. :weed:

I'm not following your question. I think you are asking why clones of a certain mom aren't ripening as fast? That sometimes happens with clones. Sometimes they will finish a little quicker and sometimes not. Who knows????????:?

All white pistils mean, is new calyxes. The calyxes swell as the pistils dry out. If there is a ton of new pistils there is a ton of weight to be gained. I bet you that the amber trichs on that plant that he is talking about sit on calyxes that have dry pistils. So common reasoning would tell you that the new trichomes on the new calyxes havent matured yet. Which means he probably shouldn't harvest his plant quite yet.

You just need to go buy quantities weigh benefit against loss If you have a ton of new pistils but some amber trichs you might just have to accept the fact that those trichs might be a little over ripe in the end. BUt don't worry its ok you will end up with bigger buds and more trichs.

Now if it was spitting a few white hairs at the end after the others dried out and the trichs were amber I would tell you to cut because what you would gain from those few new calyxes wouldn't exceed the loss from having the ripe end up over ripe. See what im saying

Oh and Brick , RZZA that leaves room for both your opinions to be right. If you want to admit im right in anyway that is lol

The way i see it you cant go by any one thing for all plant types. You must use all the imput from hole plant. Those that follow one thing only can be fooled easly into wrong harvest time, and then everything was a waste of time.

When plant is ready it looks ripe like a piece of fruit, picked when ripe. Ripe includes trichs the hairs as you call them, leaves changing, swolen calixs, the hairs as call them retreating back into calixs, and the hole plant takes on a worm coler, i think this color is from trichs.

Next time you zoom in to look at trichs zoom back out and look at hole plant. Recognize what finish bud looks like and go by hole presentation for your decision you wont regret it

So.final. verdict pick or no pick
Just wait a little while longer,I know it's easy to start talking about tric color and all those other "Myths" but it's silly. Most plants need between 7 and 14 weeks to finish up and I personally think yours could wait another week maybe two.
