hey i was just wondering what is a good water pump to use to mist my roots, im looking into setting up a ponics system this summer and am looking for some cheap alternatives, i was thinking maybe a pump for outdoor fountains might work? The Home Depot

that seems like something on the cheaper side that may work but im not sure, any input or suggestions?

well first off, you link is a link to a search that has 36,579 products. Second off you will have to be more specific on what sort of system your are using (pvc pipes, rubber maid), how many sites, what kind of misters? or fogers? You need to be very very specific about what system your using.

weird iono why the link was effed up, but ya i just searched water pump and a buncha pond fountain pumps came up, they have ones that do about 200gph for around 50-60 bucks, and ya i was thinking just setting up a rubbermaid tub, and putting a pipe in it that has maybe 6-10 misters to spray the roots, really what i was wondering is if ne1 knows cheap pumps that work well for operating misters, and im not sure what system im using, im trying to collect info for when i start this project in about 2 weeks

I was wondering this also. I have an aquarium powerhead and was wondering if I could use it or not? I'm not sure if it's able to be completely submerged or not

I use a 30 gph pump for a micro flood and drain setup. it's got a max head of 1.2 feet.

My aero clone uses a 400gph, 10 360 degree spray heads positioned only about a foot above the pump in a pvc pipe system, if that.

Some examples.
