I keep looking for the best soil for growing indoors and cant seems to find it.i know miracle is horrible and that is out of the question.i want the best i am dropping mad money on this grow and dont want to mess it up with a soil that has ferts in it and will nute burn the fuck out my plant ya know. this seems to be the only question that i have left for my grow so if someone could help me out with a soil with no extra fertilizers added as ill add my own please let me know.
i know there are the soiless organic mixes also but was wondering if the bat guano or any of that other stuff would throw my mix off??

please help me out....this is the last thing i studied and is without reason almost the most important.lol

thanks

bat guano is basically a fert. if you want something with no ferts in it, u pretty much have to mix ur own. Something like 1/3 peat moss, 1/3 vermiculite , 1/3 perlite. That will ensure u have no ferts n dont have to worry.

I recommend FoxFarms Ocean Forest. It is an excellent soil used by many here on RIU. Among other things, it has earthworm casings and bat guano. I use it as-is right out of the bag, but I know many others on the board that like to mix it with some additional perlite or Light Warrior.

yup i am using Fox Farm Ocean Forest on my Granddaddy Purple SOG grow. it is pretty good as a medium. i like to mix an extra 10-15% of perlite in the soil for better drainage..
