Which negative ion generator should I buy?

I looked around and all the systems have 50% good reviews and 50% bad reviews. Anyone here know of one that is effective, and not priced to high?

You're going to be spending anywheres from 400-1000$ if you want one for a grow room

I've already looked into that stuff.. Not worth it

So, by having a negative ion generator, I am somehow unable to proved a plant with dirt, water, light, and fresh air?

Maybe instead of acting like a douche bag with the intelligence of a 14 year old, you could explain what you mean like an adult....

You should seriously look at the implications of running these too often w/o proper ventilation.

It veered me away from the products instead just intake and exhale through carbon filters. Cheaper, easier, and less damaging.

I think the OP is trying to deal with an odor control problem. Limited to one room? Fan noise and ducting a concern/problem? An ion generator is a sensible consideration IMO. Keep in mind it "absorbs" odors so well that your plants natural odors are removed too. So you must remove the generator the last few weeks or you will be smoking pot with THC and CBD etc but the smell and thus taste will be gone.

Well, I believe you are thinking about ozone and how it has harmful effects on ppl.

But maybe ur talking about the elimination of the smell and taste of the bud which isn't that big of an issue to me, I just want to grow medicine so I can stop paying out the wazoo for shit that lasts like 5 days.

Yeah, just 1 room. I will have like 4 plants in a corner of the room, with fresh air moving through it all the time, but I want to put the negative ion generator on the outside of that and keep the room itself smelling good 100% of the time. Literally no smell can escape...

Just go with a carbon filter. The only generators that actually DO anything, have carbon filters in them. Not to mention you gotta clean it like once a week for it to actually work properly. Replacin the carbon filter every 4 months is a must.

It's not worth it...

If you wanna go that route, [strong term for never mind] negative ion generators. get an ozone generator, such as a Crystal Air unit. I use it to clean up the escapees from my carbon filter when I'm moving or tending plants ... or harvesting. cn

This is wrong, regular negative ion generators spit ions in the air to get rid of dust. There mostly for people with alergies and such, it was actually proven that they would make plants grow faster. Opening up the pores on plants so they breathe better, like humans. The only odor that is going to be delt with is a generator with a carbon filter in it. These cost up the wazoo

But even then. You're usig a carbon filter in-between the ozone and the fan. It's not safe to pu it in the grow room. Especially if you sleep in the grow room hahaha.. If you're only doing a couple of plants, get some ona gel, put it behind a really big fan and you won't spell anything... I think
