So I’m in the market for another light currently using some blurple
I’m stuck between a few and still looking at others right now stuck between
electric sky 180 V2 wideband led
Spider farmer sf2000
Mars hydro tsw2000
or any others I’m not aware of that are in that spec. I’ve seen and herd really good things about the electric sky leds what are your thoughts.

Mars and Spider Farmer are the same lights with different logos
Probably not true

First, SF is a far superior design and execution than anything Mars has produced to date

Second, I directly questioned the Mars representative who posts here about why some people were reporting that their SF invoice said Mars. He said I don't know anything about that.

I have the tsw 2000 Its powerful. Burnt leaves at 15" during veg...just eyed the height lol...moved it up and plants are growing real good. Just finished first week flower.

I also looked into the SF2000. Looks like a great light, but for the money; the additional wattage for the mars outweighs its slight inefficiencies compared to the SF Samsung diodes.

This is my first grow with this light so i can't says it's awesome through flower, but it looks on track nicely. You can tell the plants love the light. I'm not a retailer, and this is my very first product of theirs...just my $0.02. Good luck and enjoy your decision.

Thanks unfortunately looks like they won’t ship to Canada.
If you're in Canada, I would have a hard look at bcblondes , third party tested with top group/bin Sammie diodes. Pricing is competitive. Personally I like their design on the "game changer" series with optional active cooling for higher ambient temps.

Dislike the name though, small con

Just moved from a Ledzeal Matrix S600 (fan-cooled 600w Blurple with added IR and white), to an Electric Sky 300 V2. It runs much cooler (even though is passively cooled) and only draws 300W and I'm getting better PPFD. Very well made light. Super bright. Only other light I would consider for my space 2.5' X 5' would be one of the ChilLED lights.

Started with shop lights and a Spider Farmer 1000. Then did the research here and decided on a couple of HLG 260 3000k leds. Can't wait to have the light of a 1000 watt Hps with the heat build up of less than a 600 watt HPS for summer time growing! I've got a grow journal buried deep in my posts from my first indoor 4 x 4 tent grow using two of the SF 1000's running alongside a Sun System 315 CMH in 3100k if anyone is interested in seeing what a combo of light can do! Good luck choosing a winner!

I just looked at bcblondes game changer. 2 things

* at $700 it is very close price-wise to Amare Technology Bar 3.

* Bars allow heat and humidity to rise between them, keeping the grow area cooler and less humid, eliminating need for a fan/s

Hopefully it won’t be an issue to ask but
Will this be ok to run a sf4000. Assuming the sf can convert to 240?

Due to SFs pathetic customer service, essentially screwing a fellow grower (see his thread) I am no longer recommending them, but still not recommending Mars, who had this poor reputation long before SF. BUYER BEWARE!

Maybe they are the same company
