I have my eyes on a Storz & Bickel but I wonder if there are cheaper alternatives with good quality. Thanks in advance.

i have the extreme q vape and love it.. it came with an iolite and ran i think a lil under three bills for the two vapes... the extreme q is a really nice piece of kit.. you can use whip or bags with it, and even comes with a handy lil remote control with it that is unique only to the extreme q..
my vote goes out to the extreme q m8..

I've seen a few medical marijuana documentaries and everyone out there seems to be using volcanos.

I have the Extreme Vape as well. I like it better than the Volcano. It's easier to fill and empty, it's half the price but better craftsmanship, you can vape or use whip. A year ago I accidently short circuited my power adapter by plugging it into a wall with bad wiring. I e-mailed Arizer (bought the unit off Amazon) and they sent me a new one, along with a few extra screens. Good support. Good warranty. I'm a total fan of the Extreme Vapes.

The only edge the Volcano has is the stock bags are bigger. Funny thing is, the Extreme and Vaporizer bags are really just turkey oven bags. I bought some extra large bags and I've been using those ever since. $3 for a pack of 10 bags! The Extreme Vape just has a glass tube with a strong rubber band holding the bag in place (which as weird as it sounds, its strong enough because I've completely forgotten about them before and the bags don't pop)

With the Volcano I believe you have to use their bags because of the special attachment. If you want larger bags you I heard you have to buy expensive aftermarket ones that come with remanufactured tips. So i dunnoo... $600 for a Volcano or $300 for an Extreme Vape??? Buy what you like, but if mine ever breaks I know what I'm buying again. :)

The Extreme looks the part but in Europe it is not much cheaper than the volcano classic (20%), and volcano is from a german company so it's better for me regarding the warranty. Shipping the Arizer to cali would cost me a kidney.

Anyway, why would you choose a vape over a joint, pipe or waterpipe? I'm quite new, growing some northern lights for my anxiety as we speak...

I bought an Extreme Q on price alone and has exceeded my expectations. Bags are bit shitty to replace but I just use zip tie and electrical tape now works great with turkey bags.. the XL turkey bag me and the wife share at night its awesome.

Another Extreme Q long term user here......Bags are not a prob at all....just walk through the grocery store and you'll see so many different 'suitable' alternatives....bread bags, produce bags, etc....I've even used a subway bag....I keep a bunch of kroger produce bags at home all the time!!
I simply cannot imagine anything being better that the Q....vapes cannot make your bud better...and any vape is simply a delivery method of heat through the herbs put in place....
Between my EXT Q and my Magic Flight Launch Box, I couldn't be happier....

I have an Extreme Q also. Well made and as stated above, it gives you a few options. I paid $184.00 for mine off of Amazon. Fast delivery too!

You will be much better off using food-quality bags, like the Reynold's Oven Bags. These bags are manufactured to be safe for food that is cooked in them. They have no additives for anything else.

How many bags come in a box. The oven bags seem like they would be a better (cheaper & easier to acquire)alternative than ordering the "bag kit" that Arizer sells.

XL bags are 4 bucks for 2. and smaller decent size bags are like 5 for 3 bucks.

Way cheaper.. the only time i order is when i want to replace o-rings and glass pieces.
