Which Fluorescent Fixture Do I Want?

you do not want any kind of light over a plant at 4,000 lumins or the temperature of the light. vegging grow lights are between 5k and 10k. 4k is for reading, has nothing for plants. i would go with a couple 2 bulb T-5 lights. I would have 2 fixtures so you can move them around some. plants never grow the same and you will be moving lights. having 4 bulbs seperated by 2 fixtures will just give you more room to adjust. Yea my early veg, meaning from clone to first pot up until the transplant into the 5 gallon smart pots then they go under my 400w Blue Enhanced MH. This is usually around week 3-4 for clones depending on their growth size
